What I said was what I meant, which was just that he makes good kids. Really all the guys can, as it's really all about who you pair them with for the optimal skill/class sets n stuffs. Donnel just sticks out to me cause like I said before he enables daughters to become Peggy Knights when they couldn't normally.

As for Donnel, he's an excellent mid/late-game unit. His Aptitude skill gives him some great stat growths throughout the game, which can turn him from a wimpy villager to a beast in no time.

However, I will say that his post-game potential is pretty bad. He only has four final classes (Hero, Warrior, Bow Knight, and Dread Fighter), which is the worst in the game (Libra is second with only 5). This means that his skill sets are very much limited (although to be fair, he does get Counter and Sol, which are great skills).

Donnel's good, but I prefer him to bear Nah and give her his stat booster.

My Nah is unstoppable.

If ya have DLC then your units only need to learn maybe 2-3 good skills themselves. Limit Break, Resistance +10, and even All Stats +2 are pretty solid.
