So tomorrow I'm finally gonna tackle lunatic mode! Should be painful but that's the idea as no pain means no game afterall. One thing I'm stuck on however is who I'ma have Chrom marry. Now originally I was planning on going with shy little Olivia, but I realize out of 3 playthroughs thus far I have yet to have MU marry Chrom, which seems to be a popular choice for good reason. It sure would be interesting to see how it affects the the dialogue. Plus I'd be able to have a streetpass team consisting of Chrom's entire family (including the children's spouses). Then agains, having Inigo and Lucina with Rightful King, Astra, Lethality, etc. while MU gives another kid access to every class sounds pretty good aswell. I could also have MU marry Lucina so Morgan get's that uber hot Aether. Agh, so many options, yet only 3 save files! What shoulds I do!? D:

Worst Lunatic chapters are Chapter 2 and 3 early on.  Won't run into anything crazy again until Chapter 9 and 11.  Nah, Indigo, and Noire chapters are quite hard, might wanna wait to recruit them.  DO NOT TRY AND TAKE ON RISEN ENCOUNTERS.  They will destroy you.  That should set you up for the first half of the game.

Olivia is actual the best wife for Chrom if you want a Lucina with the best important stats.  Also Olivia is a great Swordmaster.

Since your going for a Female MU then Morgan is gonna be male.  Chrom passes Rightful King to his sons, Aether to his daugthers.

^Yeah I read about that, Chrom's skill inheretence I mean. What I was saying though was that by having MU marry Lucina, she'll pass on Aether to Morgan. That way I'll still have 3 people with Aether despite Chrom having a son.

I'm not too big on trying to get the absolute best stats possible. However the stats turn out for the kids have should be good enough, atleast that's been the case on my previous files. And preferably yes I would like to go with a Female MU as I didn't get some characters on my first file (which had a FeMU) so I see those supports I missed. Plus it means both MU and the child can have Galeforce.

Oh and I will try to take on the risen! I'll fail horribly but I wanna experience it first hand!

Once they are promoted Risen Encounters have capped all stats.  GL with that.

Seeing a Dracoshield or Talisman from a Secert Merchant spawn next to a Risen is the most ball busting shit ever.

^Psh, I don't need luck (it's generally the bad kind anyway)! That's why I always choose luck as MU's mediocre stat (though now that I think about it, HP would probably be the best mediocre stat since it'll still end up at 80).

Would be nice to shake it up a bit.

I mean we have fought dragons, necromancers, undead, power hungery nations, slave nations, beast nations, demons, and gods.

Awakening added time traveling zombies and time traveling/dimension crossing heroes/villains (DLC).

So now what?

Has there ever been a Fire Emblem where they really fight a god? Technically Grima, and Naga weren't Gods?

Radiant Dawn with the fight against Ashera

Gawd, RD is such a great game! Finished it like 20 times now!

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Sumia and Cordelia side by side. Sumia is soft like jelly. Anything poke her and she falls.

Gaiden had a god that turned into a dragon for the final fight.

Luck's probably one of the better attributes. Lord knows Anna doesn't dodge everything based on her speed.

Quite right.  Tho its hard to remember playing that game untranslated on a friend's Family Computer (Japanese NES).

My friend gave me the barest of bones in translation for that game, same with the original.

On another note beat Paralogue 19 on Lunatic, and apparently defeating you know who wasn't enough.  I left myself open to finish him off but thankfully the RNG gods were on my side and a lot of misses (which is rare in Lunatic mode) and support defenses triggered and I was able to finish that chapter.

Had a go on the final chapter but my units aren't strong enough currently.  Need to level a bit more.

Tried Rouge and Redeemers 1 again.  Did vastly better this time but my units still aren't good enough for this (crazy hard on Lunatic).  Skills procin everywhere with brave weapons = QQ reset.

Well just started Lunatic mode and as expected the name isn't just for show! >.>
Mah troops can't hold their own at all against the enemy. Them Lv.1 Myrmidons on the first map can insta kill MU, I find that quite messed up! D:
Bleh, looks like I have to use Freddy more than I'd like, but then I'll be screwed over in the long run. _Crazy_Man_ how did you do it mawn!?
