I don't know, which is better? Male of Female MU?

To be honest, the female avatar really adds a lot to the story of the game, especially if you get married to Chrom. That way the three major roles (Avatar, Chrom, and Lucina) are connected as a family that really adds that bond as they face the enemy together.

The lack of Morgan in this post is disturbing.

I would say the game favors making the avatar male, if only because of the whole "children bound to the mother" thing.

Or think of it like the Hindus/Muslims/Chinese would: you're getting rid of one woman that you have to get married off, and turning her into a man that you can marry off (because you have to get all the pre-Say'ri girls married, whereas the males, nominally, have a choice). With Male Avatar, you open up more backend characters to marriage (not counting the bonus paralogues, Basilio is the sole late-game male, versus Say'ri, Tiki, and Flavia), and you can have another couple (along with whomever Chrom marries) that has two children, and so you have to do less work at getting all the children and can create a more intricately bonded setup.

From what I played, Female MU has more entertaining dialougue.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

So I beat Chapter 21, and the end is very much in sight.

Some Spoiler-y Notes That Conegamer Shouldn't Read:
Screw you, Grima! Nobody should taunt Lucina and expect to get away with it.
It would've been thoughtful of Lucina to give me some sort of last request. I'd at least want to see my daughter's beautiful face one more time before I kick the bucket...
Chrom saves me. Clearly he wants to stop the bad guys on his own terms, which is both respectable and seemingly risky.
One more reason to play as a female: the scene would be even sadder. It also would be pretty heartbreaking if I was married to Lucina (next time, I swear!).
Long-range magic? No big deal. Quite a few of my characters are overleveled (because I'm a grinding freak). Lucina could've beaten the Chapter by herself since it's one of those "kill the boss" chapters (my Chapter 19 strategy in a nutshell). But I wanted the loot, so that wasn't going to happen.

Well, they had to make it balanced somehow!

I'm at chapter 7. Where do I go to get more gold and buy master seals?

Makes sense, but I hear the female dialogue is better...but the male route is easier...

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

That picture is so adorable it's unreal.

But you get gold from skirmishes, which you create from getting a Wreeking Box or something from the merchant. You can buy the Seals from him as we'll, but you may be too early.

The shop that appears after you beat chapter 12 has Master Seals.

Well, no, Radiant Hero is the descendant of the guy you think

Which raises lots of questions, especially since the matter of Ike's sexuality was supposed to have been closed in a manner that would preclude such things as descendents.

Also, i did Smash Brethren 1. Fairly amusing, and made me wish i could recruit Sephiran out of all of them, as despite being 10 levels lower than most of my guys, he was still a serious threat.

I also did the other ending (Avatar-focused) and folks here were right, it does seem like what they're trying to push as canon.

I really feel like Chrom and Viike should of had an S Support option personally.   Though i suppose that would raise WAY more questions haha.

That said I think Nintendo is a lot like Disney when it comes to gayness... they design things intentionally obvlious as if it never existed allowing people to fill in the lines where they want.
