I've persuaded at least 10 people to DL the demo. So far, 4 , played it, loved it, and said they're getting it. How nice of Ninty to include 2 BEAUTIFULLY 

animated cutscenes to attract the people who like cutscenes a lot.

No really though those cutscenes are freaking beautiful. (P.S I wonder if Monolith could recieve help from some of FE's animators, for some reason I see the style fitting well. Just my opinion though.)


and i have convinced my buddy to buy it as well and he's never played a fire emblem game.  He downloaded the demo and said he likes it a lot and that he's due for a tactical RPG.

What's your take on the 3D usage in the cutscenes? Could they use a bit more "pop" or was Intellegent's choice of using it a little more subtly er..Intellegent?

I think their good, maybe not the best, but it workds fine for me.  Funny thing is, on the first chapter I thought there was a bug flying around my screen until I realized it was ash (or is it birds?, I really don't know).  I rarely play game in 3d mode, but sometimes I do like to turn it on.

No, this is DLC in this game. It features returning characters, maps and music (the "Greil Mercanaries" music in this case), and one can be recruited at the end of the chapter. In this case, it's Elincia.

So I played the demo.

I could not be happier with what I saw. Intelligent Systems really nailed the overall presentation and graphical style, and the plot is off to a quick and interesting start. And the music is amazing.

i don't know if i like that

I believe some content, characters and maps get released via spot pass for free similar to Dragon Quest IX but others you might have to pay for. Especially if you are in an area where you get zero spotpass traffic.

I am hoping we get the Marth one for free like Japan did day one.

It's a dang shame that it's still over two weeks away. I'm really itching to play. At this rate I'm going to run out of uses on the demo well before the game releases.

EDIT: I don't know if it was already mentioned somewhere on these forums or not, but I was whiping smudges off my 3DS while on the gender select screen and accidentally hit the d-pad and it went to the female and it showed that she was unavailable in the demo. I think it might have been smart if Nintendo allowed that option in the demo. Not that it's a big deal or anything, but I think some gamers would have appreciated it. Just something I wanted to point out.
