Making some head way now in Lunatic Mode, now on Chapter 13.  The urge to grind is great but I'm limiting myself to just Risen spawns, which are hard enough as is.

I think ill hold off on recruiting children for a while, they were hard enough on Hard mode. Also their base stats should be good enough later on that I won't need to Second Seal them for them to max out the essential stats.

Which raises lots of questions, especially since the matter of Ike's sexuality was supposed to have been closed in a manner that would preclude such things as descendents.

Also, i did Smash Brethren 1. Fairly amusing, and made me wish i could recruit Sephiran out of all of them, as despite being 10 levels lower than most of my guys, he was still a serious threat.

I also did the other ending (Avatar-focused) and folks here were right, it does seem like what they're trying to push as canon.

I thought it was pretty widely known that Ike is gay. Support convos across PoR/RD, plus the fact that he spurned various advances/offers made at the end of PoR (made by Elincia and Lethe) and the fact that his only paired endings in RD are either with Ranulf or Soren (really, just all of his high-end Soren supports), the fan consensus was that he's gay.

Specifically, Paralogue 23 introduces Priam, who self-proclaims to be descended from Ike and bears Ragnell (which is just all sorts of dickery, depending on how canon we want the DLC paralogues to be, since that would also toss Tellius into the same planet as Akaneia, Valm, and Jugdral), but where precisely could Ike have gotten a descendant?

Granted, adoption's an option...

Eh, I just figured they were bros. Admittedly, there were some homoerotic overtones with Soren, but this is the same series where Ephraim and Eirkia didn't really act like siblings at all, so I just brushed it off. As for Elincia/Lethe, Lethe is boring, and the only thing interesting about Elinicia during PoR was her royal status; I'd have shot her down too.

Also of note is that in the Japanese version the character introduced was Paris. This is the same as what Ike was going to be called in the Radiance games, so it's almost like it's the same person but in a different timeline.
