I never played it either, but I played the original, "Crush the Castle" - it's a free browser game and especially part 2 is pretty funny

In that case, it's probably more you being great at the game than the game being incredibly easy. I haven't played the game a lot, I'm nowhere near getting 3 stars within 3 tries on most of the levels. Neither are the friends of mine who play the game a lot.

I still don't understand the fuss around this game. To me it's so boring, but that's not the problem, what bothers me most is the fact that it's in no way original, I mean I recall playing flash games WAY before Angry Birds that were so similar in gameplay than this.
To me, they just took one of those games, added the concept of Birds vs Pigs and call it a day.

Maybe it's just me, but I think it's way overrated.

Why not? They are buying $700 cell phones (with the required calling plans) and $500 tablets.

Think about it .... Of course, it did not sell a lot of PSPs (the only non phone/tablet/computer on which Angry Birds currently appears).

Well lucky that most of the games industry brings original games on the market =p.  Everytime a new Ip get announced people start to compare it to an other game.  

Maybe not original but all the rest is perfectly executed, people are loving it and spending millions on AB merchandise and the studio is gaining millions thx to the free version advertisments.

Maybe... The first time i played the game was the last level of world 1 on my cousins iPhone, she was having trouble completing it and I got 3 stars on my first go.

It does seem like the type of game he would be into.Simple,mass market appeal and good concept

Ohh well the space game is pretty cool to me and the games are fun i just kind dont like the developers.
