So go ahead and do that. Ignore what your doctor, vet and any other medical or scientific expert tells you. They are all scientists with titles after all.

You must instinctively knows what correct and incorrect and would never make an incorrect decision while lacking any valid information. Heck, we should all do this, I'll go down to my barber tomorrow and have him bleed me to get my humors back in balance, those evil spirits that came up from some swamp gas have me feeling a bit under the weather.

You just got to be rational to realize that we didn't caused global warming.

 

Still cool to see how we derailed the thread, I'll wait for the day it snows here in Rio so we can discuss the war on Iraq.

Where I do not agree is that I will not listen to Al Gore who tells us to stop polluting but then turns around, makes millions out of his videos, accepts awards (for himself) and uses 10x more energy than the average american home. That is what you call a hypocrite.

Yes I do think he did that video just for a profit, and I agree he should not be using 10x more energy than the average home if he is so worried about climate change.

Also he got in trouble for serving some sort of fish that is endangered species at his daughters b-day party. I thought that was funnier than the energy his house uses.

Long story short:  of the 17,000+ "scientists", only 2,100 are scientists, and of those only maybe a few dozen were actually scientists with any expertise on the climate.  Also, the petition itself was a joke.

Isn't that just a failed attempt to twist my own point without actually making a legitimate one of your own or even presenting your post in comprehensible language? And how is ignoring data rational? And what does religious belief have to do with any of this at all?

It is currently 17 deg F in godthab,greenland the capitol if you guys want to debate about that. Notice though Godthab is south of the Arctic circle 17 deg is normal.
