Forums - Gaming - The last way you died in a videogame is how you are going to die in real life!

Dang, a group of deathfist orcs from everquest 2 are going to kill me!!!!

Shocked, then mauled by a Jolteon :/

I LOVE ICELAND!

I also died in MGS3, so I must've been dead since 1964. Why did I accept to go on that suicidal mission alone?

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater HD Remake.

A FECKING ATTACK DOG! You are cruel Radish.

I'm actually kind of disappointed. I was expecting a much sluttier lewd death than that from you...

Catherine

Pleased to death in a super orgy that included 8 men two women, a tranny, the god of fertility, and a succubus.

My last death occurred while playing Grand Theft Auto IV...

Looks like I'll get drunk, fight a homeless guy, which leads to me fighting more homeless guys (apparently the homeless are in some sort of alliance and if you hit one of them, then prepare for a relentless assault by every homeless guy in the proximity) where I will be beaten until I only have 5 percent of energy. Luckily, I'll have a shotgun hidden in my T-Shirt which I'll use to scare them off (Except for one who I'll have to gun down. For some reason, he will think he can fight a shotgun shell). Afterwards, I'll make a dash to the nearest burger shack to refill my health, only to stumble over a street curb, falling to my death.

FUCK YEAH!! I can't think of a more honorable way to go out. Generations unborn will sing epic songs about my last minutes on this Earth. f

Hmm I'm guessing strategy games don't really count as you don't really die (you just get beaten), which counts out most of the last stuff I've been playing.

I guess it'd have to be Skyward Sword - though it was a while ago so I can't really remember how I last died in it. Better not knowing I guess.

Its much better when you know, so you can actually take caution in future to prevent it. I'd give anything for someone to tell me correctly how am I gonna die

But if it's how you're going to die then you can't prevent it.

You need to read more mythology =P in so many tales somebody tries to prevent a prophecy from coming true and in doing so themselves cause it to be true.

You have some examples ? Final Destination DOES NOT COUNT !!!

Let's say its fortold that you die in a car accident on a specific day. On that day, you stay away from the streets completely the whole day and thus you avoid your death. Or if you die from some hard disease, you take extra caution not to get infected or fight it while its not serious yet...

Examples:

Oedipus (ancient Greeks)

Romulus and Remus (Roman)

MacBeth (English)

An example remarkably similar to your statement is Sleeping Beauty - it was fortold that she would be put into an enchanted sleep by a spindle, the King forbade all spindles, when she eventually came upon a spinning wheel she did not know how to use it and so pruck her finger and fell into sleep.
