Zim; not a fan of walls of text... but I support you 100%. Lady Gaga is the epitome of a produced artist, something that might as well have come out of a factory.
Fact is that most popular artists are products of stylists, PR people, "song"writers, and producers, they are made for raking in cash off of audiences that are easily pleased and who like to spend money on fads and hits.

And that's perfectly fine by me, just don't come and embarass yourselves by claiming that this isn't what its like. It is. Pure and simple.

The only one emberessing themselves here is you.

Here you can see her style before she was famous, with the stage name Lady Gaga already.

Here you can see her small performing art video for her small shows befroe she was famous

Here is 2008, when she started to get famous in Australia and Canada for her artistic ideas.

Here is when she started her Gagavison, at the begining of her breakthrough.

Try again.

Around the Network

I am tired of how the recent pop artists are trying to sell their hollow music as something deep.

Also, why is writing pop songs considered an advantage? How would writing something like "WOMANIZER WOMANIZER WOMANIZER WOMANIZER WOMANIZER WOMANIZER WOMANIZER WOMANIZER WOMANIZER WOMANIZER WOMANIZER WOMANIZER WOMANIZER WOMANIZER WOMANIZER" give Britney Spears any more credits?

I have to say Michael and Madonna yes.

no need to enter any stupid comparison with anyone else.

once Madonna will be dead there will be no more gagying around it.

Switch!!!

And I agree Britney is way better than GAGA in my OPINION!

At leaste she is been around for 10 years more than GAGA which is only better to sell herself and talk about herself which is perfect for the new music industry.

WELL DONE GAGA!

the people calling her manufactured in this thread are hilarious, no matter how many god dam awful links you post it just shows how they know nothing. dear god.

Tell me about it, it's just as bad as people making Lady Gaga sound more amazing than she really is, no matter how many links they post.

I realize she's a decent artist but some hardcore fans take it too far and blow her way out of proportion, and if you don't call her "special" or "amazing" you get your head bitten off. >_>;;

Fans shouldn't take it too personally when they hear people say they dislike Lady Gaga, it's not like they wrote her music or designed her look for her.

Gaga fans also forget to give RedOne any credit. Just to name a few songs he produced for her first album:

Just Dance.

Poker Face.

Love Game.

Bad Romance.

Alejandro.

Monster.

Judas.

The guy is a genius, he knows how to make a song that is going to chart. He brought J Lopez back from the dead with "On The Floor" and helped many others like Enrique Iglasias to become relevant again. Gaga would be nowhere near where she is right now without him.

I just noticed that those were pretty much all of her greatest hits... >.>

In terms of talent Madonna and Michael Jackson set standards which still haven't been surpassed today. Lady Gaga and Katy are riding behind Madonna and will get better with the coming years.

In terms of sales, Madonna will never be surpassed by Katy Perry or Lady Gaga. Sucks, piracy has caused such a massive drop in sales. Has absolutely nothing to do with talent. Katy Perry and Lady Gaga were just born in the wrong era if they are expecting Madonna-like sales.

Lady Gaga fans, honest question, I really need to clarify how you view the world:

Forget Madonna... Lady Gaga or Beatles?

John Lennon > Lady Gaga > The Beatles in talent and quality (not success) tbh.

The Beatles were just a Justin Bieber group back then, that was their success. AKA the backstreet boys, Boyz to men all that is sex appeal. In the 60s, adults were more gullible, today only teens and kids are in respect to music.

Freddie Mercury and Queens > Elvis Presely in my book, any day.  Bohemian rhapsody? The show must go on? We will rock you? We are the champions? Elvis' song stealing fat ass can go take a seat.

As for Whitney Huston and Madonna, Madonna's success was her sex appeal, she broke the boundries of what a recording artist could do. She brought sex into music. Whiteny Huston's perfect voice made her career, she doesn't have iconic songs like Madonna does. The average person can identify iconic songs that belong to Madonna like Like a Prayer and Ray of Light, Whitney's song is I will Alway Love you which is not hers. So I would say they are pretty even.

As for the present and future Artists, Lady Gaga is the obvious winner. All her albums have been nominated for the best prize in the music industry, Album of the Year at the Grammys. All of her songs are amazing when she plays them on her piano, she can sing, and gives us glam rock eye candy that reminds us of the days of David Bowie.

On MJ, I feel like people just push things too far with him, I personally do not like his voice. Frank Sinatra was popular in his days and very successful. We have Elton John, Bon Jovi, and John Lennon. Michael Buble is the new guy in town, but he puts me to sleep.

Thanks or the laughs :). No arguments here. Just let me repeat, I believe now 2 people will be very embarassed when they grow older.

Btw, I do agree that The Beatles started somewhat as a boy band.

My opinion is that I believe you'll be embarassed when you'll get older. In fact, I also have an opinion Lady Gaga will vanish from the musical world (and your personal world) pretty shortly. I'm 30 now, I am embarassed of some thing I thought to be the "best ever!" - and so does everybody.

I'm not saying that's right or wrong, but you'll have to forgive me when I tell you I find it really amusing when someone say Beatles and Boyz to Men in the same sentence!
