Because of the league? Its purely for comparison among themselves. Achievements and Trophies.

Well, we don't have an achievement system, so I'm not sure what we'd be comparing :K

We could see who has the most objects with more processing power than the Wii U.

For instance, I have: a laptop computer, a PS3, a PS Vita, four TVs, a microwave oven, a digital watch, an alarm clock, an egg timer, and a toothbrush. So that's 12 for me. Can anyone top that?

Yes, Ryan you can look up trophies and achievements on the PS3's site and the 360's site. It is easy as long as you know the online name.

I have a fridge, coffee maker, gf's vibrator and stopwatch more powerful than the wii U.

If you truly want to know ask Arcturus , otherwise it works something like this  in the case of the vgchartz trophy league once you contact arcturas and meet the leagues membership requirements , you make vgchartz 2  your friend  ,vchartz is full so he has a second list , and once a week Arcturus checks the trophy score of all his friends on his vchartz and vgchartz 2 lists  against the psn trophy website. then makes up the charts , but to do this you need a standard like trophies or Achievments something that might happen with wiiU.

Seems like the best you could do at the moment, except maybe the 3DS if it has some new feature, is to compose a games list displaying people's collection and whether they beat the game. Create some kind of point system from that and people can see how they match up. All done by the honor system though.

Or you could wait to see if the Wii U will implement a system then you will have a fresh start on comparing gamers starting with early adopters.
