Meh. You still like it, no?

Absolutely.  I play games for the gameplay, a nice story is a bonus.  And Xenoblade's is definitely good for the most part, I just didn't like the turn it took late in the game.  But it's an awesome, awesome, awesome game.  Hell, I'm still playing it!  116 hours in just finishing up sidequests and rebuilding Colony 6 before I go on and end it.  I clearly don't want it to end because it's so good and I don't have anything else to play... :(

Guess I have The Last Story to look foward too.

Have you finished any of the Monado quests so far, or got any of the 5th skill trees? They're quite good!

So far, I only got 5 skill trees for Shulk, Reyn, Dunban, and Melia.  Poor Ricki still only has 3.  :(  Might just have to just break out that google docs spreadsheet, even though I like to find these types of things on my own.  But it can be impossible in this game.  In the next one, they should have a way of letting you know that quests are readily available to accept and give you a more comprehensive way of finding named NPCs during specific times of the day.  Using the affinity map to get time ranges and trying to remember where certain characters are can be a headache.

I'm working on the Monado quests now and just have to upgrade Colony 6 special to lvl. 5 and that'll be done.  Also, I'm missing some Collectapedia items (one in Eryth Sea, one in Frontier Village, and all of them in 'Other').  Hmmm.

For Riki, his skill trees involve 2 rival doctors entering dentistry in Frontier Village, and the other involves the Nopon Sage. I agree his are the hardest (bar maybe the Machina in your team). I agree with the quest and affinity chart thing. Be able to select each icon on the affinity chart to see their location, and have a ! appear if they have a new quest, for example. Finally, the Other collectables can only be traded. One's from the women who's at the Ether Light during the day, 2 others are from Colony 6 High Entia (Ma'Crish and Yura?), the other 2 I forget, I'm afraid. The other collectibles in the other areas- try trading or going around at night. Some can only be found at night, whilst raining etc.

I have been really enjoying Xenoblade and can't wait for when I come back to Sweden within 2 1/2 weeks. When I come back I will literally play the game so much.

Besides what is written above, can anyone tell me if Heart to Hearts are intressting, I have done just two or three and one of them was pretty intressting, but the other two was meh. I have just recently disvored that affinity is pretty good to have, so I'm just trying to max out Reyn-Riki, Reyn-Dunban and Riki-Dunban.

You can finish it without maximum affinity, it is just a bonus and a motivation to change your fighting squad frequnetly. But I found it very hard to gain Rikki-Reyne affinity.

In my opinion It's actually not that hard, I have gotten their affinity to the cloud shaped smiley. Plus I have grinded alot, well I hope It is alot, in Galahad Fortress, for about 7 levels, from 45 to 53. I mainly play as Dunban, with Reyn and Riki as side characters, but when fighting mechon bosses, I usually play as Shulk, with Sharla or Riki and Dunban or Reyn as sidecharacters. I could not care less about Melia.

It looks like you are my new best friend in this Thread . I never cared about Melia either. She dose some decent damage but dies after almost every hit. But there will be an area where you will need her against one boss.

Yay, the game gives you a chance to smear that pigfucker under your own power. Shulk should've stabbed him in the eye while interrogating him...

Anyway, got some productive stuff done. Leveled up under repeated attempts to beat Xord, then wandered around the Bionis' leg, which i dodged earlier, getting me an additional level in exploration Exp when i found the secret observation point, then sold off tons of weapons and got some quest cash, then started on crystal forging. Need to find somewhere to buy better armor for Dunban, too, since none of his stuff has slots on it.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Rage...

Melia is the best character. Not playing as her is a sin. Sure, she takes some time to get used to, but when you do, she does everything well (immense strength, great buffs, auto-topple guaranteed, reflecting all damage etc.).

Everyone can equip the same armour, I believe (well, except the last character), so just give him whatever. Preferably Light/Medium with slots.

Most people agree that the lighter he is/the higher agility, the better he is. I assume you killed Xord, at last, then?

Indeed. I quite like the armor he came with save for the lack of slots.

The League Armour, no? If you like the look, check in the equipment screen, because armour sets which look the same have the same logo.
