Well it is a jrpg, the characters are what they are anyway. :) And I don't have the classic controller.

That's a shame. I'd reccommend investing in one unless you're comfortable with the Wii Controller Combo. Where are you in the game anyway?

Not as far as I would like to be. I have to be on computer a lot today, because of work. I think I just left from the weapons lab to some cave. There is a hill with the same name, can't remember what it is. In the very beginning anyway. :)

You mean Tephra Cave. The first major story event is coming up anyway, so have fun with that one. Then the "tutorial" ends for me and the game really begins ;)

And I meant the Heropon and Fiora so if those are the worst characters for you. Then you are right.

Wait wait wait wait. My third favorite game has a thread!? That.... is..... AWESOME!

I will make my first post saying my top five favorite songs in the game.

1. Zanza. Really gets your blood pumping for the final boss, and makes you just wanna rip him to shreads. I absolutely love how intense it gets, given the stakes of the battle.
2. Satorl Marsh Night. Beautiful music for a beautiful environment. This is my favorite place in any video game.
3. Prison Island. The tension of coming to this place, and slowly ascending to the top, wondering what will happen. This music really knows what the player is feeling.
4. One Who Gets In Our Way. Expected, but I never get tired of this track, even after all the bosses it plays in. Easily one of my favorite boss themes ever.
5. Snowy Valak Mountain. Perfectly fits the snowy atmosphere. Gives the sense of isolation and how far you have gotten away from home. Absolute beautiful track.

The only one I disagree with is Valak. I hated that place (too many steep hills), and I wasn't a huge fan of the music. I'd sub in Guar Plains' music, and bump it up two spots.

For some reason, I could never get into Gaur plains music. I can totally get why someone would like it though. Im just a sucker for frozen environments and their music myself lol.

Wow, can't believe I forgot that. Thanks for the heads up.

I love that one too! Mechonis Field as well! That whole area gets unnecessary hate imo. Loved the machinery feel to it.
