Forums - Nintendo - Is there something wrong with my Wii?

wow, never had nor heard of that problem. Did you turn the Wii on prior to inserting the GC disc? Maybe you should call Nintendo.

Yeah, that happens to me. Just reinsert it and you are fine. At least you didn't ask if it's off and flashing blue what does that mean ...

Well Soriku, you're finally at that age. It's a perfectly natural thing for males during puberty and...

Oh, that's not what you were talking about.

Whenever there is something wrong just grab your Wii and wag it like there's no tomorrow.

If that doesn't work, just keep jabbing your output into the input.

Perhaps the piece that pushed the GC disks into place is stuck. Hold your ear up to the Wii and listen for the disc spinning. If it isn't spinning, it is either not in place or the censor that tells the Wii media has been inserted is damaged. If that is the case and you are under warranty, call Nintendo and have them fix it.

If not, unplug the Wii and shake the drive gently to listen for foreign matter. Hopefully whatever is loose isn't important and you can safetly fish it out with a paperclip or something.

Also, you can try one of those DVD cleaning disks.
