Very interesting Analysis. Might have to start reading more of this guys stuff.

Id be very curious how a COD, a Skyrim/Fallout3, a DragonAge/Mass Effect game would do for the VITA in the West.

OPINION. Some people prefer to play on a portable.(Japanese gamers especially). Some people don't have an HDTV and some people don't want to share their console. PSV is the perfect personal entertainment system Great alternative to PS3 once it gets more games.

OPINION! This is what the PSV is trying to change. They are trying to replicate that home console experience on a portable.

-Doesn't a PSV have a microphone built in? You don't need a headset....Plus didn't he just say that most portable gaming is done at home?

1) Your statement is an opinion. Nintendo having stronger IPs is backed up by sales numbers, i.e. facts.

2) Your statement is an opinion. The PS3 being the better choice is backed up by sales numbers, to the point that Drake's Deception has far better legs on a console with plenty of game choices than Golden Abyss has on a system that is filled with ports of old games.

3) Your statement is an opinion. I get the feeling that you just don't know how to properly use punctuation. Should be ":" everytime you used a period or an exclamation point.

4) Either way, nobody would talk to their handheld in public. As for the second point, as soon as you are at home, you may as well play CoD on your HD console.

I know my comment was an opinion but the guy is an analyst, he's supposed to be unbiased.

1. Doesn't matter that Nintendos IPs sell more if you don't like plaformers....Nintendo will always have stronger IPs. Does than mean people should only buy Nintendo consoles/portables? No.

2. Of course Drakes Deception has longer(and sexier) legs. PS3 has a much higher install base so naturally games have the chance to sell more over time. With Vita sales dropping to all-time lows each and every week, Golden Abyss has yet to find an audience. Like you said above, Nintendo IPs are stronger unlike Sony ones. You can't expect Uncharted Golden Abyss to have legs like Super Mario 3D Land.

4. Not everyone has an HD console! Many people have a Wii instead.
