Forums - General - What joke did you believe on April Fools?

The joke about the vita price cut in the other thread... I'm not falling for anything else...

I think a lot of users in this thread are afraid of revealing their embarrassing failures.

I obviously didn't fall for anything though.

I've been swatting down these fools threads like it's nobody business.

uhh a number of years ago, I was suscribed to electronic gaming monthly and they had an article about unlocking sonic in SSBM. I believed and tried for many hours to accomplish the task nessessary to unlock sonic. I finally gave up in frustration only to learn when the next issue was out that it was all a joke for the April issues, which because all magazines are weird was delivered to me in March.

Well this was actually pretty funny.

And this, too.

That Star Wars Kinect is having midnight launch parties.

But after I read this, I'm sure it must be a joke

Are you a Star Wars fan? Unleash your inner Jedi, dress up as your favorite Star Wars character and head to the Microsoft store in the Mall of America in Minneapolis on Monday, April 2, from 10:00 p.m. to midnight for the release of “KinectTM Star WarsTM” for Kinect for Xbox 360.

In addition to battling it out in a costume contest, attendees will get to play the much-anticipated game before its midnight release, using The Force, participating in Galactic Dance-Offs and competing in Duels of Fate – no controllers required.

Come early for your chance to win raffle prizes and compete in the costume contest. The customer with the best costume will take home a $50 Microsoft Store gift card.

Someone revamped that old hoax about Lady Gaga found dead in a hotel room, a FBK friend of mine fell for it and before realizing what day it was, I almost fell for it too.

The Gmail Tap is the best so far this year I think.  That site is so real but having LL Cool J on the vid talking about all the tapping was just a dead giveaway.  Wonder how many fell for that.  That was good.

Consoles owned: NES, N64, PS1, GC, PS2, Wii.

There was an article in the papers about the Russians working on a gun that can control people's minds. It was clear that the article was a fake, but I still think it is happening
