So now that we are at April fools if I was Nintendo I would plan the ultimate April fools prank. One that would dupe all of the public. I would release screens of a new game that everybody would dream of and nobody would expect. My favorite choice would be Legend Of Zelda MMO for WiiU. A launch title, probably releasing seven or so screens through a highly unreliable source. I would track down a journalist source nobody trusts and leak the six or so screenshots to him. Leak him some crazy info on the game but give him asome fake info to throw him off.

I would issue a press release the next day from Nintendo confirming the game to be an April fools joke alongside many other fake April fools joke Then keeping the game top secret would prepare a short 20-second trailer for E3. Have Shivering who would already be at E3 handle the presentation. I wouldn't bring any demo to E3 to ensure the games confirmation wouldn't be reported till the actual show. Confirm it as a launch title with the headline The Legend of fools! Would be the greatest April fools joke in the industry's history!

If I were them, I'd give 3DS gamers 10,000,000 play coins but I'd also jack up the price of everything to 1,000,000 coins.

As an added bonus, if I were Sony or Microsoft, I'd delete all of your trophies/achievements for five minutes.

And finally, if I were the Rock and John Cena (Two wrestlers/horrendous actors that announced a year ago that they would fight today) we would meet in the ring, act like we were going to fight, and the say "April Fools" before hugging and walking away. Best Wrestlemania main event, ever!

That would probably amuse the shareholders.

D21Lewis if we are talking cruel pranks. I would shut down Xbox Live for a few hours with the message "Xbox Live has been fully compromised". Then have all of everyone's live info offline for the remainder of the day releasing a statement that Anonymous had crashed Live had stolen all credit card info and that all of the servers data had been wiped.

The next day in the morning greet everyone with a message "We sure fucked with you, happy April fools".

Of course I really doubt 98% of gamers would actually find it funny. Microsoft would probably face law suits and angry customers leaving Live.

But it would be the biggest prank a game company could pull!
