Before hearing this I was thinking of resistance 2 as more of a "maybe", but this is sounding really promising. Cant wait to hear more; if there releasing this much information then development must have been going a while; fall 2008 doesnt sound too far fetched.

We know nothing about KZ2 , so to say resistance 2 will be better is just a guess.
Still gotta give props up for the dev budget of Killzone
look towards the future to make comparisons.

IMHO those scans that we just saw do not beat the visuals we have seen from Killzone. But future screens could.

Either way 2 great games that may eventually turn the tides in North America.

 By that logic saying that Killzone 2 is a great game that can turn the tides in NA is silly to say too.

 Somewhere plotting over which argument to use to debunk this game (and the PS3 in the same turn). Having a favourite is okay, but why do so many loathe the competitors? Maybe it's rooted in weak actual belief in their system of coice, or maybe it's just to annoy people (most likely the latter...). I don't think we'll ever know what drives people to hate a piece of hardware, the company manufacturing it and all related products adn ventures.

Yep looks awesome and the feature list is extremely impressive. Not for noting I listed this and Killzone 2 as my most anticipated PS3 games for 2008.



Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."

If you dont like resistance and you own it, ur a blind fanboy, how can you not like resistance? Its like giving halo to a sony fanboy he says its a terrible game even though its better than most of the games on the ps3.

I think most people felt a lot of potential in RFOM but it definitely had launch title blues. It just felt a little bland, empty, and rushed. Definitely not a bad game, but not a brilliant one either.

And definitely not as good as Gears.

In any case, I hope Insomniac builds on the original and works on its weaknesses now that they have more time and experience on the platform.
