WOW! Can't wait to see the trailers.
I wonder what this is EDIT 18: Mysterious "Cloven", Could it be a new race.
BTW twesterm not just doesn't like Insomniac but also Sony as a whole. And yes he's a BIG Xbox fanboy. Just stating facts fellas.

I usually ignore these, but I'll bite: how do you figure?  Because I don't like Insomniac and Resistance I'm an Xbox 360 fanboy?  Also, where did you get the I don't like Sony idea?

He probably got the idea from some of the recent things you've said:

"Little Big Planet - Don't get me wrong, I don't think the game will be bad but it won't be near the best."

"GT5 - It's going to sell oodles and oodles but it will hardly be the best."

"I don't like Insomniac"

"I would consider RRR2 better than Uncharted"

Lists about how PS3 08' games are going to be delayed, arguing about why Little Big Planet will not be a success, mentioning how you think the cover system in Uncharted is poor... etc.

I don't honestly care, just showing you where halil23 was possibly getting his/her idea that you don't like Sony from.

As for 360 fanboy..., I'm not too sure. You're more of a Wii fanboy really.

Eh i'd just call him overly critical.  Likely due to the fact that he is a game designer himself.  When you do something for a living, the flaws that other peole make become more clear.

Personally I like that that he's overcritical.

60 player online....just think of the servers. Ya know, I have a feeling that all the online games and all the dedicated servers in the world are the primary cause of global warming. Shut down WoW for a few days, and the temperature of the Earth will drop .25 degrees, guaranteed.

Personally, I couldn't stand the first game. It was the first game I rented when I got my PS3. I played about the first 10 chapters, and found it derivative, repetitive, and dull. I personally didn't think the graphics were anything to get excited about. Felt very 'Call of Duty 2 without the soul' to me. There were lots of little story quirks, too (if I've just been tossed into a Chimera jail, why is my door randomly wide open and why do I still have my guns?)

I didn't like the online either, because nobody talked in any of the matches I played, so I felt very isolated.

However, reading about this game has gotten me fairly excited--8-player co-op sounds like a blast, and I've always said that the developer who tossed me into a small squad whose objective was a part of a bigger overall plan would get my dollars.

...someone'll have to fill me in on the plot details, though...

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

The reason that the door was open and you still had your guns is probably because, as stated in the game, no known human has ever woken up after being infected, and they assumed the same with Hale. I doubt the Chimera would have ever guessed anything like this would happen. Why bother removing the weapons of a guy in a coma? and its not like he's gonna just walk outa the door (lol).

Okay, fair enough. But why were all of the other doors closed? And why even put you in a cell, then?

Sony would be stupid to let Insomniac release this game in 08, not after all the times they've hyped up Killzone2. The last thing Sony wants is to make competition among it's own 1st and 2nd party exclusive titles.

Having two heavy hitters like this in one season would only spur ps3 sales, thus resulting in more sales for both games, theoretically.

duhh.

but in sony hater minds two great exclusive games are some how a bad thing.

@Mar: First off, I'm going to take it that you are NOT stupid enough to accuse me of all people to be a "sony hater". Secondly there's no problem with two "great" (when did KZ2 achieve "greatness"?) exclusives during the same seasons. However, there is a problem with two FPS games that are getting released in the same time frame that is published by the same publisher.

If the masses know that a proven success such as Resistance is going to be released around the same time frame as KZ2, people are probably going to wait for R2 instead. The only FPS game that i can see derailing KZ2's hype in 08 is Resistance2, so why would Sony go through all the trouble of hyping up KZ2 just to knock it down with another one of their own games? The average consumer is not going to go out and buy two FPS games just for the heck of it, they are going to pick one, and that's going to hurt the sales of the other game if the release dates are close to each other. Like I said before, Sony doesn't NEED R2 to add into their already stacked 08 lineup, that's why they can afford to bring R2 into 09 and i guarantee that would benefit Sony much more than trying to stick both their premiere FPS games into the same quarter.

Because there's nothing of interest in there and you don't need to go in them? (I don't know honestly). I'd guess that you could consider the cell a "waiting room" because when he wakes up, you see a couple of Chimera wandering around outside of the cell doing something (probably dissecting or preparing for conversion) with a corpse. So, Hale was probably next in line, or at least close to it.
