If you're the kind of person that rather skips cut scenes and ends dialogue conversations asap, just point me to the next goal, sure.
Otherwise you'll probably be wondering what they're on about half the time.

On the one hand, you won't understand the significance of all of your various meetings and some of the game's brilliant events. You won't know why you're so close to Garrus and Liara, or really understand what's going on with the Quarians and Geth, or any number of other things.

On the other hand, you won't be nearly as disappointed by the ending as the rest of us were, and the gameplay is still great (and though the multiplayer is often overlooked, it's a brilliant part of the game).

So, if possible, play the first two (or at least ME2), but don't miss out on ME3. You'll be able to complain about the ending like the rest of us, and who doesn't love to complain?

Yes, it is an excelent game.    3rd person mechanics are almost flawless; you can upgrade your character as you go in the story; and MOST part of the story is superb.   All what you need to know is in the screen after the prologue; it is kind of a resume of the plot, in an extreme way; but all the important things are there.

And also the graphics are damn Amazing!!

I disagree. By not playing the first two games he may not notice what a plot hole, lore breaking, cluster fuck the ending is.
