The Prophet 4/10
From the director of the Lion king comes the most preachy movie I have ever seen. I don't mind religious movies in general, they can have very good stories. The prophet however doesn't have much of a story at all. The little frame work there is is just there to tie a bunch or sermons together. The only redeeming factor is that each sermon has an animated sequence in its own unique style (directed by different people) With the right music it could be a nice collection of shorts.
Anyway the improvements to 1.5x playback speed on ps4 didn't make this too much of a waste of time.

The good dinosaur 7/10
Inspired by the Lion king comes a not a very original story set in Grand Teton national park. The landscapes and especially the water look amazing. I watched it in 2D on blu-ray, it looks spectacular. They should render some of the scenes at 4K 60fps HDR for reference material and 4K tv's will be flying out the store.

Daredevil's season 2 is fantastic. I really liked the first season, and 2 improves it in almost every way. Except for Fisk, who was an awesome villain. Not that this season's villains weren't fantastic, but they lack in comparison.

the preppie connection (2015)

7/10

the wild blue yonder (2005)

boring if you dont like watching astrounauts floating in space with weird music.

7/10

watching 11 22 63 time travel show but not much of time travel for now.. but its still interesting and how even time itself fucks with you. somehow reminds me of star trek holodeck episodes.

Yeah, but there are some references to the first season which improves the experience. There are also some references to the MCU (Jessica Jones, Avengers...). Not a big deal, but I love when I get a reference to another MCU material. But it could definitely be enjoyed on its own.

Double post, sorry about that, but reviews for Batman v Superman are starting to pop out, and it looks it's a really bad movie. Right now: 11% Rotten Tomatoes, 46 Metascore. I've read some reviews and they don't sound really encouraging. I'll give it a try but my expectations now are really low. It seems like DC is failing in creating a MCU, if this is anything to go by. I'm really sad about it... Well, Suicide Squad looks fun, so let's see if they recover.

i'm gonna seeing it on opening day still but let's hope Suicide Squad is good or otherwise DC and WB are in trouble big time.

I don't think the RT score says anything about the quality of a movie.

You're totally right, I was talking about the actual written reviews than the score. They point some cons of the movie which really keeps me worried. And they're problems that pretty much every review share, so I guess it's fair to say that the movie actually has those problems. I'll give it a try though.
