for some reason i didnt really get it probably because i skipped the first 10 minutes the kids started to behave agressive and then started to kill their parents.. it was better than I expected some gruesome intense scenes and a good ending.

^ Considering I can't even get decent 480p video through cable, how is NASA supposed to get good quality video up there :p They do have decent live stream cameras. http://www.ustream.tv/channel/iss-hdev-payload They don't work at night however, not very sensitive. HD cameras don't fare well up there, their inside HD footage is full with dead pixels from the sensors.

I watched Patema Inverted 7.5/10
Great story, looks pretty good too except for the facial animations. Very cleverly made and succeeds in turning your perception upside down a couple of times. I enjoyed this more than httyd 2. Only the heavy handed indoctrination state and psycho head of secret police was a bit overdone.

The Russian one is definitely worth a watch. Just be prepared for a very slow start.
I'll buy the blu-ray when it gets reasonably priced. I regret buying the Cloony version though, have only watched it once.

yeah but NASA and the military are like 30 years ahead of mainstream technology its hard to believe thats the best we got.. I saw once footage it was crystal clear with an imax camera i think but it wasnt live .. and some of those live streams have big delays i wonder why

Still the military came up with fuzy pictures claiming WMD in Iraq... But maybe that was the point.

I saw some of those conspiracy videos too about the live stream, claiming the grey screens are intentional. As if someone at NASA has a full time job pressing the button as soon as an alien space craft ventures into the camera view again. Must be quite busy up there.

rewatched the return aka vozvrashchenie russian movie its in my top50 list great little drama about two boys and their father for some reason it reminds me of insomnia probably the whole atmosphere..

I already watch Beyond the black rainbow a second time. My wife fell asleep on the couch watching Elementary, so I put on some soothing synthesizer tunes :) She woke up when Dr Nyle was just about to push his assistant's eyes into her skull. She hates anything to do with eyes, oops. Her advice, wen you hear those synthesizer tunes in real life, don't look, just run :)

Btw the cover is false advertising. It clearly shows her running, however nobody in the movie ever moves faster than a snail's pace.

It's a decent children's story but nothing more. I was expecting some kind of twist but it never came, just the predictable one. Didn't really care for the simplistic drawing style.
