You proved speed reading has its flaws, anything out of context with the rest of the text is easily overlooked. People picked up on the Angry birds part which is right above your red herring. It's one of those things that your mind does.

Watch Brain games if you want to know how much you can trust your mind to pick up on details. It's surpisingly little.

Anyway I missed it too the way I pretty much read every article, read the first paragraph, read the last, skim over the middle.

Test your brain is pretty fun to watch, I only can't get part 1/1 on YouTube, blocked for my country while it was aired here a long time ago anyway. Worth to watch.

Skip to 3:24 and see how well you do.
One of the more mind blowing things is people being replaced behind a counter with less then half of the customers noticing that they're suddenly talking to a completely different person.
