Futureshop always tries to price match all Walmart deals from what I have seen.

The size is the least important problem. The problem is the shape.
It hurts your hands if you play too much. They should consider this in the future revision....

I don't have any Problem with the shape of the 3DS as it is almost the same shape of the DS lite. The problem is that for the kind of games that the 3DS is getting (console type of games, 3D games) the small size and the lack of a second analog stick is really a problem. For 2d Mario games, Prokemon games (traditional portable games) The shape is good. But for games like Resident Evil Revelations, Resident Evil the Mercenaries 3d, Kid Icarus Uprising and Metal Gear Snake Eater 3D, the size and the lack of a second analog stick makes your hand (and my hands too) hurt.

I hope more Americans are like this so that nintendo realizes that the 3DS is small! Played the Vita today. Loved it! Will never buy it because of my principles, but it was the perfect size. |

Mmmm no. Not at all. 3DS is a handheld. That means that it's something that should fit in your pocket. It's meant to be small.
You cannot complain on its size. You can complain on the size of a handheld when it's too big and you can't carry it around. Because it has been created to be carried around (coff coff, Vita).
3DS' size is perfect, but its shape is not. It's too sharp, its angles make your hands hurt. When I leave it, I have a 3DS tattoo on my hands. lol It could even be smaller, but it should have smooth angles.
Second analogue has nothing to do with size. You can have a small handheld and two sticks.
Console type of games? What has this to do with size? You could play every game on a 3 inch screen. I know because I did it (lol). It really doesn't matter.

1) Let me get something out of the way first:
"You cannot complain on its size. You can complain on the size of a handheld when it's too big and you can't carry it around. Because it has been created to be carried around (coff coff, Vita)."
As a launch week 3DS owner that sold his first Xbox 360 to buy the 3DS I can complain whatever the heck I want about the 3DS. For the sake of this discussion please do not tell me what I can and what I can not do.
2) ''Mmmm no. Not at all. 3DS is a handheld. That means that it's something that should fit in your pocket. It's meant to be small.''
Yes thats right. You are complaining about the shape of the 3DS....that is the same shape of the original DS that sold 150 million units. So the shape is not the problem. And everybody knows that the DSi XL is the best version of the original DS. I know a lot of people that are not going to get a 3DS until Nintendo launch an XL version. for an example see the users above.
3) ''DS size is perfect, but its shape is not. It's too sharp, its angles make your hands hurt. When I leave it, I have a 3DS tattoo on my hands. lol It could even be smaller, but it should have smooth angles"
The 3DS is size is too small, and the controls position are the worst part of it. For the type of games that the 3DS is receiving it is really small and the control scheme is broken. When you need a stand to play kid Icarus Uprising and a bulky peripheral to play Resident Evil revelations confortably you need to come to the conclusion that the 3DS original control scheme is broken to the core. is the button layout for the type of games that you are playing that hurts your hand. Try to play Resident Evil Evil the Mercenaries 3d for two hours and you are going to feel that your hands are gonna fall. Now try to play New Super Mario Brothers or Pokemon Black and you are not going to feel any hurt.
4) "Console type of games? What has this to do with size? You could play every game on a 3 inch screen. I know because I did it (lol). It really doesn't matter."
When did I talk about the screen? I am talking about the size of the unit and the button layout. If the plan of Nintendo before launch of the 3DS was having on it games like Resident Evil Revelations and Kid Icarus Uprising then the Secong analog stick was needed, a better button layout was needed, and a bigger unit to play more confortably was needed. Thats my opinion as a long time Nintendo supporter, if you have a different opinion than mine thats your right.
I did not like the tone of your first reply to me. You talked like your opinion is the word of god and my opinion is not valid. You think that the problem is the shape, I think the problem is the size. I respect your opinion and I hope you respect mine.
Thanks for the info OP! Just picked up a red one with Kid Icarus a few hours ago. Solid system, though the screens seem quite small since I have been playing with my vita, and I really do wish it has a second slider, its very uncomfortable to aim with the stylus especially since I am left handed. :(

You can map the aiming controls to the A,B,X,Y buttons if you want. Also, if you can get a Circle Pad Pro you can move the character with the left analog stick.
