i like allot of what i saw and the idea but is this the end of mod nation racers? god i hope not, cause i can only stand so much sackboy milking.

Given LBP is on PS3 and PSP. And MNR is on both as well you can be pretty confident there will be a PSV game as well. Who knows, maybe they'll make the online part work across platforms too. Got a Vita and PS3 in your house? No need to play 2-player split screen on your TV. Would be pretty cool.
I love MNR and I don't care a jot about the loading times. However, given loading times were a deal breaking issue for some people I do hope they make a better job of it with LBPK just so it's not off-putting for the whiners.

It does look like MK doesn't it? But... every cartoon/fun styled Karting game does. You can't really make it that different.
Mario Kart has done Battle Mode, Minigames, Ghost, Multiplayer, Online, Bosses, Mission, Time Trial, Mirror Mode, All Tour Cup, First Person Mode, Double Drivers, Underwater and Air Sectioin, Emblem Creation, Kart Customization, Community, Leaderboards and Tournaments.
Diddy Kong Racing had done Adventure Mode, Time Trial, Multiplayer, Online, Airplane and on Water driving, and Bosses.
Nothing new for this game.

It was cool. Very, very cool... although I don't agree that it was quite as good as the best Mario Kart games, but still.
OT: Message to Sony: Concentrate on supplying the PS3 with great games like this for a few more years instead of rushing out a PS4.

You are really setting a low bar for some of those, particularly Kart Customization which was done infinitely better in MNR.
