I mean really, for about 2 weeks that is all I saw on game sites.  Now it has all but faded from existence. 

Was it ever real in the first place? Did Sony ever actually confirm this? I don't remember that happening, it probably went away because it was a rumor. Also... I've never heard of a Super Smach Bros. game before!

Yeah, Nintendo made a PS3 game, but it's available if to buy if you're a Yeti who lives in the London area.

i remember in 2008 or 2009 there was a thread that listed possible characters for a Sony smash bros. game. it was more of a dream list. anybody remember that thread?

He means the heavily rumoured Sony's Crossover Fighter. That's why they call it PS3's Smash Bros.

ok it was 2010. it's a good list but doesn't reflect all the possible characters that would fit in that category.
