2 million copies pirated, that's for sure :p.
I kid, it has potential, but not THAT much, it will get outpirated either way, not stealing per se, but making illegal copies of it and ripping the publisher off.
It's a great game, deserves every sale.
Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

The second best game of the generation for me, so it's without saying that it deserves every one of those sales and many, many more.
I hope they continue bringing us more of the Souls saga, even if the games aren't intertwined themselves (story wise). It's all in the gameplay and in the challenge

Bring it over Steam and at least 500k People will buy it.
Alan Wake sold a lot too - Probably sold more than the 360 Version before it went for cheap 1 week after release.
Oh no, the PC crowd has arrived and digital sales are already being mentioned for a game that hasn't even been announced!
The game would sell awfully on PC. I would provide links proving it, but then you would mention how digital sales aren't counted, because they are rarely shared. Then you would provide a link to a random, unrelated game that had a high download rate, and use that rate as the standard. You would probably also mention how it was #2 on steam for a week during a sale, and how it sold X amount in Germany alone. I would question your extrapolation, and you would defend it.
There, I just saved us the agony of that another potentially painful conversation about PC sales. At the end of the day though, this game isn't coming to PC, so let's celebrate the great sales of the console versions. Yaah!

actually Alan Wake isn't anywhere close to 500k on steam. Anyone remember last year when valve actually released some info on the best selling steam games a few months after portal 2 came out. Anyway Terreria was around number 3 or 4 with around 650k sales. That game was number one or close to number one, for literally months. Alan Wake is no where to be seen on steams top 20 games and its only been a week since it came out. I doubt it sold 100k yet.
more importantly -- dark souls is still $40 at retail. demon's souls was already at $20 when it crept past 1 million.
