Yeah, I'm ignorant for pointing out God's view on homosexual people. Have you even read the Bible, aka, the word of God?

Why are you looking for a fight? Homosexuals are really irrelevant to my belief in God and he doesn't forbid anything - thus he created free will

I'm not looking for a fight, I'm just expressing my opinion and why I have them. Listen to this quote:

"If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them"   Lev 20:13

Clearly, God has something against gays. But yeah, he doesn't actually forbit it, as long as you plan to spend an eternity in hell after death.

Sorry, I just have to come in here. Christians don't have to be homophobic.

Yes, the old testament says some wacky things. You are forbidden to trim your beard about 4 passages after the one you quoted. But since Jesus, Leviticus doesn't have much bearing on the Christian faith. I find that those who use those quotes are only doing so to push their own moral agenda, not that of the bible.

(In fact Christians who use quotes from Leviticus arguably understand very little about the Christianity. If they did think Leviticus was to be obeyed they would be crippled in modern society as Leviticus is essentially just a list of absurd and redundant laws. For example, being homosexual has equal billing to burning a priest's daughter to death if she has sex; but I don't see a group of people who go around killing the daughters of priests)

If Player1x3 said "I hate gays because of Leviticus!" then I would be on your side, but he didn't even bring it up. He's even stated that his religion has no bearing on his view towards homosexuals. It's clear he doesn't hold the view you want him to and he doesn't want to get into this argument, ok?

Some people do though, so if you want to argue this then find someone who holds those views. If you want to argue against homophobes, then more power to you.

Yeah, I mentioned earlier that I was wrong to attack Player1x3. I never said that all Christians have to be homophobic though, just that their God has made anti-homosexual statements through the Bible.

That's from Torah, the jewish book of rules that also forbids eating pork. It has little to nothing to do with Christianity, based on the life and teachings of Jesus as presented in canonical gospels and other New Testament writings.

John 15:12
This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.

Romans 2:1-4

"You, therefore have no excuse, you who pass judgement on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgement do the same things. Now we know that God's judgement against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere man, pass judgement on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgement? Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance, and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance )."

Homosexuality is seen as as a sin in Christian morality but so is discrimination against them and judgment against them. In fact, it even promotes love towards them, just like for any sinnerss. It says the acts of homosexuality are condemned but not the queers themselves, because theres more to a person than just its sexuality. Just like lying. The lying (the every day sin committed by everyone) is considered even worse then homosexuality but it is still tolerated in christian morality. Because we are all normal men, we all sin, every day for the rest of our lives.

As for queers going to hell:

First off, contrary to the popular belief, hell is not a place but a state of soul. People themselves put them in that state by rejecting God. Hell is not a place where demons torture you and burn you and cause you physical pain. That's just symbolic for what Hell really is - afterlife without God. And because Gods love towards men is too great for him to cause them pain, its people that themselves there, not God. They do so by rejecting God out of their life and not letting Christ into their soul (like you).

2nd off, Christianity puts A LOT MORE EMPHASIS on the correct faith, rather than correct obedience and lifestyle. This means that if you have true faith in God, feel sorry for your sins, accept Christ in your souls and TRULY redeem yourself you may enter heaven even if you were serial killer rapist (of course they'll might have a hell of a time doing any of those things :p) because Christ suffered for our sins so that we dont have to. That also means that NO ONE is good enough to enter heaven in Christianity based on their lifestyle, herosexuals as well as homosexuals. Sowhen you say ''Homosexual lifestyle isnt good enough for heaven'' you can just as well say '' Heterosexual lifestyle isnt good enough for heaven''

And ''expressing your opinion''? Really now? Are you fucking serious? That's an interesting position, let me try expressing my opinion on your belief group :

Atheists are even more ignorant, dogmatic, and fanatical about their chosen spiritual path than they claim Muslims, Christians, Hindoos or Jews to be.

However, there is a key difference. People who convert to Islam or Buddhism do so for philosophical or cultural reasons: people who become atheists do so because they got picked on in high school. Rummage through an atheist's emotional baggage and you will find a pile of leftover teenage angst, a few cases of repressed rage at mommy and daddy, and an overpowering urge to feel superior wrapped around a stupendous amount of self-loathing.

Atheists suffer from a rare, aggressive form of unwarranted self-importance, which causes them to invariably and vastly overestimate their own intelligence, in stark contrast to their more temperate peers. It's mandatory for atheists, because if they're not the geniuses of Earth, they're forced into admitting that they're not always right and they don't know everything, which would mean that they are, in fact, basing their assertions on belief, which is something no atheist can bear to admit.

Atheists have a mental commitment to let everyone know how much people shove religion down their throats. They are, of course, oblivious to the fact that if they can call themselves atheists, no religion has been forced upon them so far, thus they fail to realize that by following atheism in such a militant fashion, they are shoving their beliefs down everyone's throats far more than they accuse others of doing.

Hey, that's just my opinion man, dont mark me lol

(edit: that's not really my opinion, was just trying to make a point)

Bolded: I'm glad you pointed that out.

Underlined: That's is a very strong and generalizing opinion you've got there, and you couldn't possibly be more wrong. I have been Christian for 16 years solely because of my parents forcing all these "facts" down my throad, and even forced me to go to a christian pre-school. In fact, my entire family couldn't be more christian than they are today, which is where the italics enter the picture. I have been an atheist for two years now, and I've never ever been happier in my entire life than I've been through these recent years. Your god simply failed to convince me.

I respected you before you made that comment.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

The bolded clearly said that it was, in fact, your real opinion.

The italics: I don't understand what you're talking about, make yourself more clear.

Underlined: Needs to be repeated.
