I work in the Aerospace Industry in Production Control, basically the middle man between my company and the big boys of Boeing, Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Sikorsky and many other small-mid sized players. I am heavily leaned upon and it can get quite frustrating but I would say I pretty well compensated. As of last year we also became only the 10th supplier in the world to achieve "Supplier Gold" status for Sikorsky. In my time here (~3 years) I have also seen the company stock rise from ~$3.25/share to it's current ~$14/share.

I make ~50k/year and have wonderful hours of 7am-3:30pm, meaning I work 37.5 hours/week yet I get paid for 40 (1 hour lunch and a 15 minute break).

I would normally care more, but my lady is the bread winner in the house.

I am also the 2nd youngest in my department at 27 years old and have no college eductation. My job does help with schooling though if it is for a spot within the company, so I may look into student aid in Engineering when I hit my pay ceiling.

Wow congrats man, your job sounds awesome!

My favorite part of my job to be honest is bagels and orange juice every Friday and the monthly meetings with all staff and execs to discuss the "state of the company" and we get great food there too.

Other than that I would rather live a life without the need to work, lol. I know that is asking too much though.

I was blown away after I saw what kind of people do this job in the UK. We had 30 people working in Hamburg and 28 of them finished university.

Ya big deal. Everyone in Germany has a degree. I met some of the most stupid people with Master's degrees there. The Professors in the humanitarian sciences (it's mostly a load of nonsense anyway) desperately want students just to keep the funding going. It's a sham.

Congrats anyway. And nice salary ;)

Crap job barely making anything while working 50+ hours a week. I'd like to get a job using my Wildlife Management degree. Some day... Some day.... I'd rather not work in USA though if it was a wildlife job.

Internet keeps you intellectually stimulated.

Other than that I always look at things like "I am only going to live once" and I would rather not end up regretting devoting majority of my life to my current work. The work I enjoy most is that of being a parent, so the more I can stay at home the happier I will be. There are plenty of things to get done at home believe it or not. Like todaY will be assembling my entertainment center and wall mounting my TV.

Yeah, I'm a dork.

I am a part-time physics lecturer and post-grad student.

Life is easy, relaxed and slightly under-payed.

?

12% in Germany do have a degree. That is not everyone. I don't want to brag about it, but it is not the norm.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Aircraft manufacturing and planning. Been in the field 5 years. With overtime I have made 60k the last 4 years, however, next year will see my base raise to ~80k. So there is the potential to make anywhere from 80 to 140k USD a year depending on how much OT I am willing to work.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. I have several friends that do that...My one friend tracks Lions for a living. Sometimes he smokes pot and runs around in the bush like a wild man - looks like a great job.

Come to South Africa. There are so many wildlife parks. You just need to get in then you're set.
