TGS doesn't contain Nintendo, therefore its automatically worse. |
Honestly, this is a very objectively true point. One may enjoy TGS more, but without one of the Big Three (and inarguably the biggest name in gaming history, period), it cannot factually be better.

I'm confused ... are we talking conferences or showfloors? Coz the show floor was littered with Wii and Ds games at TGS 2008.

But none by Nintendo themselves, correct?
Showfloors is certainly up for grabs (and TGS helps by actually being fricking public), but as far as conferences goes, E3 is always king

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
Nintendo, MS, and Sony show what they are up to.
Geoff Keighley should be banned from tweeting during E3 (like).
“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
You said that there would be videogames. Where are they?
A convention where Sony scores, Microsoft miss and Nintendo win.
I only need 4 words:
annual late night disappointment
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
