Saying that Master Chief himself is the direct cause of Halo's continued success/growth as a franchise is asinine.

Gran Turismo 5(GT5+Prologue+digital sales) is outselling every Halo to date, and GT5 is considered to be one of the weakest GT's out there.
I thought only Sony said arrogant stuff. Either way, I care less what executives say.

Gran Turismo and Mario...
Gran Turismo 1 through Gran Turismo 5 (not counting prologues and shit) are at 54 million sales, Halo CE through Halo Reach (including ODST) are at about 42 million.
That's 5 games in each series and GT is up by 12 million.
Pretty arrogant.
Gran Turismo is one of those games he obviously forgot about.
The Mario franchise is huge so I guess he's just ignoring it as well.
Yes, Halo is HUGE but it's not what it used to be. Call of Duty has been the new king for a while. Maybe that's why they're adding perks to Halo 4...
Oh and he also forgot Kinect Adventures! It's sold more than Halo 3 already and it's the #1 best selling game on the 360! Why no love for Kinect when promoting Halo? Maybe he wants to avoid being compared to Wii Sports sales at 77mil+? :D
