After reading all this, it's become clear: I don't belong in this group :(

The first Resident Evil. Two friends an myself stayed up for over 24 hours beating it before it had to be returned (at the time our rental store only rented games and movies for one day).

We did beat it, but let me say this, games become both scarier and harder to figure out when you're sleep-deprived.

My End of 2008 Hardware Predictions (console only):

Wii : 50 million

360: 28 million

PS3: 24 million

These predictions were made on January 3rd and won't be revised

I spent 7-8 hours on Test Drive Unlimited, Oblivion, Halo 3 (each game, like 7-8 hours) and like 10 hours on Mass Effect. I have done it like 4-5 times and most times, my wife is NO HAPPY.

Suikoden V, 10 hrs, I knew i was so close in beating it and could not put it day, in the end I still had 5 hours after I finished that session

Chrono trigger. I had Pink eye, which was contagious, which meant no school, which meant 24 hours straight of Chrono trigger. My parents were not pleased with my dedication to healing by straining my good eye for so long.

Chrono trigger also gets a seperate 16 hour mention. My good friend from University wanted a ride to the airport for a flight 18 hours before mine. So I brought my laptop, loaded a Chrono trigger rom, and played until I beat the game.

Other than that, 10 hour gaming sessions are nothing unusual for me at all. Name any game that I liked on a day where I didn't have anything else to do, and 10 hours of my life went into it. Hell, even 12 hours went into doom 3 and 10 into Painkiller.

See Ya George.

"He did not die - He passed Away"

At least following a comedians own jokes makes his death easier.

Ragnarok Online, about 30 hours.

7 hours. Heavenly Sword.

Isn't that game like, only 6 hours long?

Back in my late teens and early twenties I pulled a quite a few 100+ gaming sessions no sleeping but with bio breaks and eating at the keyboard. Both with and without chemical assistance. I strongly do not recommend anyone try doing so. You are not very lucid after 50-60 hours. And before anyone starts screaming 'its impossible!' I have suffered very serious medical problems from such bad lifestyle choices. (multiple strokes, liver and kidney failer) These days I still pull regular 20 hour sessions but I make sure I sleep and eat well and I'm too old for the chemicals.
