Over the past five years, we've had Grand Theft Auto 4, Oblivion and Skyrim, over half a decade of HD consoles, a multitude of games with different art styles, and all sorts of new cool stuff.

Skyward Sword's big innovation was motion controls. Something that even Nintendo seems to be leaving behind with the Wii U.
