Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

I think that there will be a lot of franchises that I will need to catch up now that the Wii U is coming out. I have played hardly anthing on the other HD systems. I am very excited!

Yeah, I also got alot of catching up to do... Only HD game I've played is Fable 2 I think... I'm interested in Uncharted-series, the Batman games (I've actually order Asylum on PC just two days ago :D), Mass Effect-series (I'll borrow my baby bros copies of 1-2 for the PC) and Skyrim... I think I counted 15 games I gotta play before WiiU launches and I gotta get all of THOSE games as well :P

@ Gamerace

Could you please import Earth seeker for us, so that we can get that as well?

LOL!!  If only it worked like that!!  I'd do it in a heartbeat.   I'd love to play Earthseeker, Takt of Magic, Ikenie No Yoru, heck Captain Rainbow...

Nintendo is obviously taking a calculated risk here, after being driven to move first by a quickly cratering market for Wii hardware and software. If it can strike the perfect balance between novelty, low price and hardware that's "good enough" to have lasting appeal, the strategy might pay off. But it's definitely going to be a tough needle to thread.

If they fail to hit that sweet spot of "good enough" to last the whole next gen, they got a killer console (unless Sony/Microsoft really brings out the big guns and aiming for a multimedia hub instead of a pure gaming machine) since they'll have 3rd party support AND 1st party games!

At the very least they'll sell 40 million Wii U's. And that would be worst case scenario.

I wonder what Nintendo would be truly happy with it selling? 70 million plus? What would investors be happy with? I guess that is the real question.

Yeah, and considering launch prize: when would it have earned back all the money that went into manufactoring it and research? I say that it'll sell somewhere between 40-100m units (that's a number I'll have to change accordingly based on what MicroSony will roll out)..

That poker game just looks god damn aweful! Something that could have been done 10 years ago...

Kid Icarus is competing with Pokemon vs Nobunaga for best artwork of the year. Every single piece of art is amazing.

I think that the main thing that I hope for is 3rd party games to profit and succeed on the Wii U. Even if the system itself did not do that great. Which I am sure it can at least push out Gamecube type sales. That way Nintendo will have 3rd party trust back. That is what I want. No more of the days of us scrapping for games, or waiting months to get something good. Do it right this time Nintendo, please.

I couldn't agree more! That's all I want: to be able to play all the games that everybody else is playing!
