Anyone get NightSky or Liberation Maiden from the 3DS eshop? Liberation Maiden is made by Suda 51 and looks pretty decent for an arcade shooter. However, the flight controls are similar to Kid Icarus and I never got those down fully since I write with my left hand (going to try to aim with my finger or find a finger/thumb stylus sometime soon). NightSky was given a 10/10 on Nintendo Life while Liberation Maiden only received a 7 (some user comments make it seem like at least a 8/10). NightSky graphics kind of remind me of World of Goo. I'll probably drop money on NightSky first whenever I have the money.

I have Liberation Maiden. One of the best eShop you'll buy. You shouldn't have a problem with this like Kid Icarus (to be fair, I don't find Kid Icarus' controls hard to control to begin with). This game uses the circle pad to move and you don't have to constantly hold the touch screen like Kid Icarus, so you shouldn't have much of a cramp. One thing with Kid Icarus was that you have to use the L button along with the Circle Pad and touchscreen, but this game you don't (at least with my experince, you still use the L button to strafe, but I never encoutered a moment when I needed to).
By the way, like Star Fox, it's not long but if you like to beat your score or play in short brusts then it shouldn't be a problem.
