Oh god no. Does anyone really want another Yoshi's story?

Yes I do, I really loved the game but felt it was too short. They just need to change the level/world map system and make it similar to Yoshi's Island.

Keep the art style, graphics and controls the same.

Doing 4 stages and finally get to the end made no sense although it did add some challenge to collect the hearts (not that much), length was a big issue, Yoshi's Island was even longer :/

That was a problem with a lot of N64 games back then. My parents were not amused when these games were beaten in a half a day. So I ended up buying my games after a while because they would not spend money no more.

Hahaha, that sounds just like my Mom when I was growing up. Granted once the N64 came out my parents never bought me any more games. I instead payed for them myself by saving up my allowance or doing odd jobs for neighbors and family friends ( like mowing lawns and watching peoples pets when they went on vacation) In fact the only video game console my parents bought for me was my NES. I received the SNES for christmas from my Grandpa and my Grandma bought me a Gameboy with Link's Awakening. Every other gaming console I bought with my own money.

But yeah, my Mom would always get angry when my brother and I would buy a new game and beat it within a day or two. She thought we were wasting our money. LOL

I'm an advocate for motion controls, Nintendo, and Kicking freaking Toad to the Moon!

I find Yoshi's Story underrated.

People play it for the gameplay, not the story.

(This text is here because some dumb sites consider image-only posts a bannable offense, not sure if VGChartz is one of them.)

not sure if this is really a price reduction or whatever so i post it here and don't open a new thread but if it is some worthy news someone can open one:

Nintendo Wii console drops to $130 in two-game bundle

With both the holidays and the Wii U fast approaching, Nintendo has decided to drop the price of its older Wii console to $130 when sold with Wii Sports Resort and Wii Sports. The cheaper package should arrive in the States by October 28th and will ship in black (alongside black Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuk controllers), thereby replacing the current New Super Mario Bros. bundle that sells for around $150.

no, i'm too lazy

Yesterday Wal-Mart's physical location started to take pre-orders for the deluxe version of the Wii U. I went in today and preordered mine. You have to do in the Layaway section its $47 down.
I nabbed the first preorder at the local Walmart I was going to camp.

The story that drew my attention to it.

Damn the drones at the Walmart that I work at. They knew absolutely zilch about the Wii U pre-orders. How many were available? Did you wait at all and see when people in the line were turned around?

The drone at my Wal-Mart didn't know either. Thankfully a thoughtless employee left out the handbook for it. I will post a pic of it. I was the only one there because it was 6am and I'm guessing I was the first one because there where no other receipts in the folder. Oh it seems that at most places they are only offering the Deluxe version.

Great sig even though PC seems to lead the way ;)

Nintendo would be smart to ship more of those. Means more recorded sales of Nintendoland. More success to throw out there when the dust settles.

It includes Facebook games in that count, so its kind of inflated. And I don't have my Gamecube collection catalog since its out of reach for the moment because of renovations at my house. Here is the pic, snapped a shot of it on a whim.

Edit: Hate doing it on my phone. Going to email it to my comp.

Having that out helped more than a little bit in getting my preorder done. Though he took a while to read through it. In side is a sheet with the UPC code, that one only had the Deluxe UPC in it, not that I'm complaining.

Does anyone have a list of retailers that have/are taking pre-orders?

WalMart current is in its layaway program through November 1st

Amazon isn't yet (Though there are some reseller scalping, though I guess I heard they are mad at Nintendo for something but the source is unreliable at best.)

Newegg isn't yet.

Thanks blk! Hey? Are you the one that figured out or did an estimate with me on how many pre-orders there could be in US?

Yeah I based it on the Wii launch. I tried finding that a post a bit ago when that analyst was saying that Nintendo would be cutting it shipments to 7.x million units. I may try to dig it up again.
