wel, you can craft in skyward Sword. That's why you need the items (and the money to pay for crafting).

About the feathers, you can use what you to collect to upgrade stuff you have or to sell them to some guy with a desire for those things! ;)

One of the best moments for me in SS was actually trying to find all insects and collect the most i could. And i`m not a fan of that, but in SS i loved it! :D

You uprade your items with them at the bazaar in Skyloft. At the point you're at, you don't need to worry about it. I didn't upgrade much until I got to the desert area (the best one).

Fun statistic, the favorite franchise list.

I'm actually surprised Kirby made it so high on the men's list. But then again, this is Japan we're talking about.

Because the Wii is 100% B/C with the Wii which required the sensor bar to emit the IR signal for the Wii remote.
