Now, remind me how much the games sold? I haven't played them, but every body keeps telling me how good they are - so they must be! But they didn't sell "Halo-much" - and remember that it'll be going up against CoD and Battlefield as well. FPS from Retro is not what WiiU needs imho - it need CoD and Battlefield. What Retro oughta be working on is some form of action adventure! :D

They didn`t sell a lot but they are really good games. Of course, none of them are a FPS. They are First Person Adventures, where the focus is more on the adventure and story than on real shooting.
Wii U will have BO 2 and BF 4, that`s almost garanteed but the problem is, those can be bought on every platform. What will Wii U have for itself? Shooters like Halo make people buy a Xbox console. Shooters are probably the most played games online.
If Nintendo wants to attract that market, nothing like a "Halo" to not only attract shooter fans but to make it`s online platform relevant.

Mmmm yeah, I guess you're right: it's the kind of game Nintendo needs to attract gamers. But after THAT I want Retro to do a game for me :D

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

You better start an online petition then! :D
And if that is not enough i`ll send them emails to give you your game... or else! :D

Our outrage for the day, although i'm not sure if this guy's being serious.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Yes the market is change to what stands the question. The "free-to-play" model seems to be where people are pointing but the market that type of model will produce is volatile and guarantees that most companies that in being today will more than like not be tomorrow. (Over 95% of customers will probably not get your next title.) Which isn't a very healthy market. The only chance is if some of the bigger companies can weather the storm to provide a little support to the industry.

Dudes, the eShop has a new New Super Mario Bros. 2 makeover! Everything is gold and has a Mario icon! They are really adversiting this game!

Also, I've noticed that Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion now has a listing on the eShop. It's not much, but I've also noticed that it has a TBD price tag on it, but it doesn't say it's "Coming to the eShop" like NSMB 2. Does this mean that it's going to be available on the eShop soon?!

The 3DS eshop is still a mystery to me. So many things that I have to look through each week I love it! I have never seen this area that you are talking about. When does NSMB 2 reach America?

Epic Mickey listing is in the "Available at Retail" section.

NSMB 2 comes out August 19th (retail and eShop), you can get it at midnight if you download from the eShop. Which is what I'm doing!

Also, Art Academy 3D will be available the North American eShop. There is a listing available just like NSMB 2. This is in case people were wondering if there will be other retail games on the eShop.

"We will see what Nintendo does"

I`m hoping that Nintendo finds a way to mix "achievements" with Miiverse. For example, imagine like your console was a character and the more "achievements" (get them in games, from buying games online, do stuff, etc.) you got yout character to evolve and then compete with other in a special section in Miiverse. Kinda like Pokemon or Magic and Gathering.

Achievements for the sake of it isn`t that fun.

I'm getting pretty pumped for the 3DS XL launch.

 I'm getting mine in red

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

I think that I am like Khuutra and I enjoy achievements that unlock stuff. Remember Super Mario World for the Snes when you had a hundred different secret areas, including the star worlds. Or Goldeneye 64 where you had to get the times in each level. I like to be rewarded like that, but maybe it is just because I have never had it that I do not know how good Acheivements and trophies are. We will find out I guess.

Being rewarded within the game is cool. It`s like when you get all the coins in New Super Marios Bros or get all the stars in Galaxy 2 and the game offers something more.
I like that and is always a good incentive to finish a game 100%. But just giving you points or trophies and nothing more, just to increase a number or record it`s not that attractive.
