^This game already bombed, according to first day sales, managed less than 20% sell through.

My guess is:

20k 3DS
15k Vita

That'll teach Level 5 not to make a Japanese Heavy Rain (qtes...)

I know, looks interesting though.

Pretty sure 3DS and vita sales will not be that close.

2 bombs exploding together! The psp version will join the party next week too.

The numbers are close because 3DS has other games releasing (plus a second week for Etrian Oddysey 4)

Also, more gameplay footage for Time Travelers!

Level 5 just can't catch break anymore!

Makes me sad to see those numbers, QTEs or no QTEs.
VNs sell well in Japan- I don't think the problem was the gameplay.

Yesterday an interesting hack for the Wii called Devolution was finally released.

What it is? Well ... it's basically a virtual machine/emulator for GameCube that don't make any changes on the Wii's nand (doesn't need to be installed on the console) and it's capable of load and run GameCube tiles for a USB drive. It features is an anti-piracy check (the first time you try to load a title you need to put its original disc on the Wii) and an emulation for games with audio stream.

Also the hacker behind it is going to add the following features in the future:
- Wiimote support (and consequently classic control support)
- BBA emulation
- USB microphone support instead of the GC microphone
- Logging over wifi (I don't know what he means by this)

Yeah, they struck gold twice, once with Layton and then to a lesser degree with Inazuma Eleven.  They also developed the two best selling DQ games.  Ninokuni should have been a third, it should have been an easy 1m each for both DS and PS3, I don't know what they did wrong.  They seem to have been floundering ever since.
