Oh, japan, you silly, silly weird ass country. Never change, ok?

I love it, this E3 has me on hate for the static genres of west videogaming so this is much appreciated.

Why should Square Enix be dissapointed for the sales of just UK, they should be dissapointed if the game falls of the top 40 chart for Europe, as UK a whole has a very small userbase for the 3DS, it may contain about a 1/5 of the market in Europe, but that's nothing to impressive as not every country in Europe has a very large userbase of game systems. For Example in Ukraine, I have not seen a single person with a 3DS or Vita not even a DS, and the country yields about 65 million+ citizens, heck even in Russia have I not seen a 3DS or Vita, but I have seen several DS's, but not so many of them.

lol, pokémon user score at metacritic is now sitting at 2,270

no, that's not 2 point 227.

That's twenty two hundred points! And it includes not one, but two 666/10 scores!
Game of the millenium!

What would you say is the top handheld device in Russia or the Ukraine? Tablets?

I will guess that the PS3 is the top console in that part of the world?

I would guess that the top handheld device in those countries from what I have seen in the streets and advertisments is tablets, but I'm not sure about Home Consoles, because the games you buy from Ukraine at most are pirated versions and they had trouble doing it with PS3 games, last time I checked and I still think they have trouble, but who am I to know, I don't live in either of these countries, I live in Sweden, I just travel here every year to see relatives for about 1-2 months a year. I know the least about Russia, as I have just been there this year and last year, so don't take my take of Russia too seriously. I know that the income for rhe Ukrainian Citizens is vastly lower compared to for Example Sweden, if you compare the same jobs with eachother.

I think Wii U is a smart name, but Wii 2, would have been a better idea. At least the mass population would understand that it is the successor to the Wii and not an add on.

That Mario Galaxy 2 mod looks really cool. I think Nintendo should take a good look at that and implement it into the next Galaxy game. This might be a good game to be the first duel Wii U gamepad game. Of course there would need to be a lot of changes to Galaxy 2 to make two player work well, but I think Nintendo could make it work. Also possibly it could be the first 3D Mario game that goes online.

They used to do it with 2D games all the time in the past. I see no reason for this type of gameplay to not be incorporated into future 3D games. With in reason of course.

At least the hardware should be powerfull enough to be able to pull it off now. I don't think they could have done this on the Wii with split screen for Galaxy without significantly cutting back on the framerate, or by cutting down the pollygon count. Though, I'm not sure if they will be able to do split screen and have two Wii U game pads at the same time. Recreating the world 4 times, might still be two taxing on the hardware. But maybe they could do splitscreen with two wii-motes and nunchucks.

With gamepads they will not need split screen. I would hope that it will be able to handle it fine. If not, then just make it one screen on the Tv and have it where they cannot leave each others side.

That makes the game hard for a 3D game. Especially for a 3D Mario game where the camera is very directed. It'll be like those old 2D games when you are trying to jump over a pit, but you fall in, because the other player hasn't moved far enough forward for the camera to allow you to make the jump. I wouldn't mind if the split screen was that one person gets to see their screen of the Wii U pad and the other on the TV. That might be cool.
