Bravely Default Battle Demo Coming Soon

Plus, meet the third primary character in Square Enix's 3DS RPG.

We'll finally get to see what this battle system is all about.

Square Enix is readying the next in a series of demos for Bravely Default Flying Fairy. In case you're keeping score, this is the third demo for the 3DS RPG.

According to the latest issue of Jump, the new demo will be released shortly. Like the previous demos, this one will include an AR movie. But it will also allow us to experience the game's battle system for the first time. We'll also get to try out the job change system.

The previous demo was announced similarly in Jump, and its release followed later in the week. If the timing stays the same, it's possible that we'll get official announcement and release in a few days.

Jump also introduces us to a new character, the third following Anies and Tiz. Lee Edea is a fifteen year old girl from Eternia who's filled with a sense of justice. She was raised in a tough household and meets Anies while on a mission for the Eternia army.

Eternia is, of course, the nation that wants to apprehend Anies. This was apparently among Edea's tasks, but it seems that she'll end up supporting Anies and Tiz.

The magazine also provides a few additional hints about the game's battle system, showing how Edea can also change her job like the other characters. As you might expect, when you change your job, your abilities change. The game also has some sort of new system that makes use of turns.

Ok, now THAT's an accessory I would buy for Wii U

I just can't imagine playing Scribblenauts without this anymore

(ther`s a 3DS version, but nowhere near as cool!

Funny silicon cover, could protect the controller a bit and adds some colour. Wonder if Nintendo will bundle their own gamepad cover.

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

Haven`t seen this posted before, so i`ll just post the most important part of an interview with Scott Moffitt:

"Q: You have some new games for hard-core gamers but I didn't see "Call of Duty" or "Battlefield" for the Wii U. Can you get the core gamer if you don't have those titles on there?

A: E3 for us is all about games. We're focusing on that first pillar of the three pillars of what E3 can offer. Over 20 games were unveiled. That's a pretty broad lineup. But I can assure you even more games will be coming during the launch period so if there's a favorite game that gamers like, I think there's a good chance it will be coming to the platform. .... I would expect that gamers will see an immense array of first- and third-party content at launch."

Guess we haven`t seen everything yet! :)

Guess we haven`t seen everything yet! :)

In particular we haven't seen noticeable support from EA even though they announced a partnership last year. WIth rumors of Need for Speed and Fifa being out for launch (which weren't officially announced, either) I guess it's save to say EA will reveal its Wii U plans at a later point in time this year. Also, has there been any Capcom games announced? Capcom and Nintendo seem to be rather close right now so I wonder why we haven't seen Resident Evil 6 or any other game on the system? Here's hope Nintendo still have got some secrets up their sleeves.

I'd love to see EA sport games on WiiU! If anyone saw MS e3 show, and espacially that part about SmartGlas, knows what I'm talking about!

Imagen 2 teams with one GamePad each (and 4 basic controlers on each team) where you make up your strategy on: that would be awesome!! Surely you must be able to have up to 8 players at the same time?! If PS3 can do it, WiiU must be more than able as well.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

I think Nintendo has secrets up their sleeve and maybe it`s still working stuff out with 3rd parties. EA is one of the publishers that i`m sure has a lot to announce. You said Capcom, i could had Sega. What did Sega really had to show? That Alien game and Sonic racing game. But where is Sonic?
Iwata said there would be collaborations between Nintendo and 3rd parties. We know Nintendo is working with Team Ninja for NG 3 and i`m sure there are more.
There`s so much left to announce!

Some lovely RPG action in Rune Factory 4

I'm very interested in this game. I think it'll repeat Harvest Moons success and become the best selling RF ever.

Sorry coming into this late. Was anything new announced for the 3DS at the 3DS showcase?

Nope, they showed

-New Super Mario Bros. 2
-Kingdom Hearts 3D
-Paper Mario 3DS
-Fire Emblem 3DS
-Castlevania
-Talked about a few Eshop stuff
-Mentioned Pokemon App stuff
-Mentioned Pokemon black2 / white2
-Epic Mickey (garbage looking game)
-other small third party titles

Nothing else I can think of.

How can you bust on Epic Mickey for the 3DS?  It looks like it is patterened after Castle of Illusions, which was a real good Genesis title back in the day.

I'm actually serious, out of all the games that were shown on Nintendo's E3, that was the worst.

And if that is true, than Nintendo will have one of the best releases ever.  Go look up info on Castle of Illusions for the Genesis.
