yeah, a 2d castlevania, it's time for me to buy the 3ds!

I can't wait to see how it looks like in 3d... even though i didn't like that much lord of shadows from mercury

Update: NeoGAF member “Santiako” is adding more details to the rumor. Mirror of Faith features 2D gameplay similar to what was produced on the DS. However, Mercury Steam is making the game rather than Konami. Konami will still be publishing.

Niceee! If true, another must-buy! And something new to the scene might be great. Mirror indicates maybe a reverse castle too.

A new Castlevania? Sounds good. Haven't the past half a dozen Nintendo handheld Castlevanias all been at least good games?

They all been great to me. Best one: Circle of the Night which is simply legendary to me.

I've only played SotN yet, but I loved it.

I've got CotM in my big, but shrinking backlog, really need to play it soon.

Good thing it´s a 2D game, then!

I think they´ll also announce Lords of Shadow 2 for the 360/PS3.I heard it´s not exactly a secret it´s being made.

I'm not kidding, the thing that'll make you fall in love with the game is the first song of the game. No way to be more epic than that!
