Sony are going to have to announce a lot of stuff on Friday to stop the Vita dropping below the 10k barrier next week, and even then it might not have an immediate impact.

Agree and usually the PS3 titles are very frontloaded and the used market is also an issue in Japan. The 3rd shipments also according to some retailers. They will get the 3rd shipments this march 9 so a lot of potential sales could be gone to the used sales.

And I said it looks terrible, not plays terrible - but it's a brawler, I don't expect something great.
Great PS3 sales boosted by One Piece. Was expected though, One Piece has been so big in Japan for a while now. Often feels like half of the UFO catchers are just One Piece -_-
Vita is just dreadful. It was only 24 people away from being sub 10k, which I can only imagine will happen next week and perhaps carry on for a while as well. Looking at the release list it seems entirely possible to last for over a month!
Harvest Moon and Theatrhythm both had good weeks. Looks like Theatrhythm (I hate typing that name) will be bouncing up and down till supply is sorted.
Amazing One Piece and PS3 numbers. I just started watching One Piece under my gf's request, I heard it's a great series.
Vita needs games Japanese people like.

One piece destroyed. Good god, those are amazing sales. It isn't my kind of game but that's pretty awesome. Also, big boost on the PS3, PSP holding up and the Vita is still too low.

Wow @ One-Piece. I was expecting 500-550k, and I thought that was too high...
Nice expected boost for PS3, surprised it didn't beat the 3DS. On the other hand, Vita slips further and further behind in Japan and will likely drop below 10k very soon. Hopefully this form won't be mirrored everywhere else, but I'm not keeping my hopes up.
