For me it would have to be Gears of War

*waits to get flamed* >.>

To explain my choice, I have played them all firstly. Though they arent bad games, for me they just dont live up to the rep or reviews scores they get.

They are just too reptitive, move forward meet some bad guys, duck behind cover, pop up shoot, duck, pop up shoot, duck... rinse and repeat, till the end of the game.

I got bored pretty quickly.

I'm completely convinced that the Halo series is the most overrated, it seems that you can put the name Halo on any game and immediately sell well. Which unfortunately some people think that sales=quality

PLAY THE GAME YOU RETARD THEN GIVE AN HONEST OPPINION ON IT. 

Dont call it overrated because it suddenly sells. It sells for a reason. And thats not the same reason why MW3 sells.

Clear your mind and re do your post. This is very offensive for me. 

Play the game before calling it overrated. 

Its like me saying that Uncharted 3 is a underrated and it only sells because it has "Uncharted" in it.

I agree with you on  Zelda, i wish they would make an old school zelda such as a link to the past.  I like a game where the characters are smaller and you see more of the field. And some of the games like spirit tracks are ordinary to boring imho

They had monster sales for sidescrolling Mario, they should try old school Zelda

Exactly, a franchise being milked is different from over-rated. Every 360 owner this gen should own copies of both Halo 3 and Reach, and plan to get Halo 4. They are the best co-op games and multiplayer games this gen.

Metroid is my second favorite FPS (FPA, whatever) franchise, after Mass Effect. I put it well above Halo.

No, im asking YOU. It doesnt matter what others are saying at the moment. Im asking YOU... Have you played Halo long enough to give a legitimate claim? Or are you just another PS fanboy whos angry that Halo sells and many Ps3 Exclusives dont.
