Kane and Lynch Sells 1 mln

SCi Entertainment and subsidiary Eidos said Thursday that Kane and Lynch: Dead Men has sold over 1 million copies at retail since its mid-November launch.The strong global sales essentially guarantee a sequel to the game, which was developed by the studio behind the top-selling Hitman series.

“We anticipate a positive sales trend to continue through the remainder of FY08 and for Kane and Lynch to firmly establish itself as another key franchise for the Group,” said SCi in a statement.

UK-based SCi added that Kane and Lynch's sales-to-date for the comparable period have exceeded those of 2006’s Hitman Blood Money.

Developed by IO Interactive, Kane and Lynch launched on November 13 in the US and November 23 in Europe.

SCi also said that Pony Friends, launched in May 2007, has sold 600,000 units on the Nintendo DS, life-to-date.

The publisher added that Tomb Raider: Anniversary for Wii, which released during the Christmas period, has “performed well” and has received reorders.

Cant believe it ,although I suppose that by adding the PS3 and 360 versions in Europe and NA you get pretty close to that number ...

There are 1m stupid people out there. I played the demo on PS3, and it was just so hopeless I gave up, my main problem was the cover system which simply did not work, and then there was the poor AI, but it is too late for a ramble
