we got the same bullshot for halo reach and the final product didn't look half as good, dunno why people keep making these threads, if they manage to make the game look like that i can garantee you'll have only 2 or 3 enemies on screen at a time, with a very linear gameplay which is bad for halo



Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Yes, it's almost as if the games are exactly the same. For example, that game ME3 on the 360, look a lot like Mass Effect 3 on the PS3

Both consoles have similar capabilities; that is why multiplatform games look very similar (or identical) on both consoles.   But exclusive PS3 games look better :D

Uncharted 3 looks a little better than 360 exclusives.

But that just the only one, Gears of War 3 and Forza MotorSport 4 are in the same league.

Also Crysis 2 stills the best looking Console game and looks better on 360.

Gears of War 3 and Uncharted 3 look significantly  better than crysis 2 on 360. Some would say even God of war 3 and Killzone 3 look better.

Uh, no they're not. You should play the original Crysis if you think that's huge

i played it on Xbox.

Okay, and what was that then? Amazingly huge and awesomely epic?

Crysis 2 graphics are better and i perfered NY over Crysis 1 island.

Screens look really good! I remember they said this will be the first Halo game in full 720p. Anyway, I think Pezus pointed out the res on the screen shots were a bit too high.

Expand those pictures to their full size and the jaggies and some underwhelming textures become apparent; what you are left with is nice lighting, blur and particle effects. Do the same to Uncharted 3 pics and you'll see much higher res textures, little jaggies and  very detailed character models as well as the nice lighting, blur and particle effects.

Uncharted also runs at a slightly higher resolution and is locked at 30 FPS with motion blur. Crysis 2 has drops in frame-rate here and there and runs at a slightly lower resolution. Uncharted's environmental effects like it's water or sand effects are superior to anything you see on Crysis 2. Lastly, Uncharted's Animations, from running and jumping to talking and facial expressions are simply in a different league to Crysis 2's. 

Crysis 2 looks brilliant, but it's no match for Uncharted 3 or Gears of War 3, technically or artistically. 

Yeah well said, the CryEngine 3 on consoles did  a great job though Uncharted 3 or Gears 3  still  remain in the upper league for their respective consoles. Halo 4 should prove a great deal to beat those.
