As with all game lists, I certaiy dont agree with all their choices and positions. However, seeing Super Mario Galaxy 2 at the number 1 position (Certainly my favorite Nintendo game)... I really can't complain too much.

FF6 is still the greatest game created for Nintendo imo. ONM just hates the fact Final Fantasy does not belong to Nintendo's systems any more. When I was growing up in the 90s, game magazines and publications always pointed to Final Fantasy "x" as the greatest game and it was a large majority who considered it always better than Zelda. Then Final Fantasy 7 happen and gamers (we were all Nintendo "fanboys" then, so gamers in general) quickly began to defect from the series.

Most of us would probably agree today that FF was at its best during the PS1 era, so it's Nintendo's era that gets largely overlooked today and here is ONM trying to downplay its greatness, significance, and loss.

WOW! No More Heroes wasn't on the list. That's a one of a kind game.

Skyward Sword love makes this a good list.

What's your reasoning? Chrono Trigger is one of the best RPGs ever made let alone on the snes!

You forgot to say in your opinion, and by most people's opinions Chrono Trigger is a timeless classic.

You can, but when talking about top 100 nintendo games everyone would include Chrono Trigger.

On Ninty platforms? It'd be difficult. They've got a hell of a lot of timeless classics but I don't know if they've got 100.
