There was a time I played my 360 the most, then it RROD on me while playing Metro 2033, shame cuz I never finished Metro because of this... Its definetly not in my Top 10 consoles.

I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

Oh man, that must be a freakin' nightmare. Metro 2033 is one of the greatest games I've ever played!

RIP 360
Yay!!!
you should open it up for everyone :(
obviously 360 isn't in my top 5 but the original Xbox is about 3 for me.
If the thing would stop breaking it would probably be my third as well, but the NES and Dreamcast are easily my #1 and #2. I'd say the original XBox at #3.
I'm on my second 360 but my newer one is having problems, so I'll be buying my third before then new system is out and that is unacceptable. I've also had a wireless controller crap out on me and a few "float" to the left/right when idle. Battery packs lose their charge after a few years of constant use, but I guess that would be minor. It's mainly the consoles, and how I'm going to be shelling out probably $800 on systems alone for It's life span combined with the cost of XBL makes it a large investment.
My complaint is that, because the four years I had my original XBox, I never had any problems with it. MS really dropped the ball with the 360 in terms of hardware quality, and better not make the same mistake again or they might lose a loyal follower.
It's just that simple.
Sticking to consoles/dedicated gaming devices:
1 - PS2
2 - PS3
3 - 360
4 - Wii
5 - PSP
Bringing in my true number 1:
1 - PC
2 - PS2
3 - PS3
4 - 360
5 - Wii
Never had a Gamecube nor original Xbox (apart from briefly using a friend's modded old one as a media hub) so can't really comment on those.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
Definitely one of my favourites. I've played PS1 when I was like 7/8 megadrive even earlier, obviously tastes changed, and now I much prefer the direction gaming has taken. Was never a fan of JRPG's or most Japanese games for that matter (With dark souls being an exception, and maybe lost odyssey), but Western games kept me occupied more than enough. WRPG's, FPS, Action, Strategy etc.
Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

Ok, I've got my list, handhelds and console pre-5th gen have been excluded.
1. PS1
2. Dreamcast
3. PS2
4. Gamecube
5. PS3
6. Sega Saturn
7. Wii
8. Xbox 360
9. Xbox
10. N64
