The brotherhood and revelations were spin offs of ACii. ACiii has to be done now, i.e. in 2012, as it has  direct correlation to end of times ideas for this year.

Plus, why not? There is no technological reason to hold it up, especially if they want to complete the story line within 2012.

At least this one will have a different protagonist than the last three. I like Revelations, but kinda done with Ezio.

even though i have played all the AC's is there only 1 chapter in the Assassins Creed 3 story? like there where 3 for AC2? or does it go straight to 4 after this?

I don't know much of the American Revolution. What sort of environments can we expect? I heard some people said there were no interesting (big, tall, etc.) cities back then.

Look at these pics. It looks like the Assassin is going to be climbing mountains instead of high buildings now

Hmmm... would've prefered Egypt or any other place where there were cities more in line with previous games TBH.

But this is a time when navigating the globe was possible, perhaps there will be an option to visit cities like London (very relevant to the American Revolution after all). I hope so at least.

That's the way of the industry I suppose. Pretty soon, annual releases will be the norm and will no longer be classified as milking...whatever 'milking' is anyway.
