Feudal Japan, medieval England, medieval china, French revolution! And they gone and chosen the place that looks the blandest, and has hardly any history compared to the the ones I just mentioned! Majorly majorly disappointed by this.

I'm surprisingly hyped. AC2 was cool, but I just couldn't get excited by the last two. Here's hoping for a Peter Francisco cameo!

Playing Revelations now. This will definitely be on my wishlist as a PS3 title until the WiiU version is confirmed.

I think in Assassin's Creed canon George Washington has one of the peices of Eden. it would make sense that is why this one is set during the American Revolution.

Oh no, they chose the American Revolution.

The boxart looks crazy good but I don't like the setting. .

And now that AC 3 and all it's spinoffs will take place in fairly modern times there's no going back.

Also I don't like the American freedom fighter good guy versus the Briton imperialist bad guy set up. It's tyresome and it's been done many times before in movies, and my sympathies lie with the British anyway.

But on the other hand I love the atmosphere and relaxed flow of gameplay in Assassin's Creed, all four of them, and I am sure this will have some of that magical atmosphere too.

If the character is a Native American, there could be tension. Also, and more importantly (spoilers from ACII glyphs), George Washington has been shown with a Piece of Eden.

I'm very excited to see where they go with this. My only worry is that there won't be nearly enough epic viewpoints.
