Woah, you can get an Azurill right from the start? I think I'm going with Snivy this time around as my starter xD.

Man, I really struggled with Snivy in Black... it was the first time my starter was not my favorite of the team. I know you are professional in these games, but I found Snivy to be pretty underpowered compared to others!

This time, Oshawott for me!

And the game looks great! That's how you make good games, imo. Look at the intro, it's so simple (and cheap to make), yet it looks good. Doing more with less is the true gift of Gamefreaks. Everytime I see this I hope the gaming industry learns a lesson, but no...

(even though B&W intro was way better)

What Sales do you think this game will reach to?

Since Pokemon is bigger then it was when platinum came out, i will say 11-12m for this game and maybe 18m for the original black and white, [maybe 20m but the ds is dying]

It's hard to say though, because the ds is at the end of it's life spam, so the 3ds will make or break this game

Well, I used Snivy to level it up and it didn't seem that hard to use, though that might change in conformity with the trainers pokes. As Serperior, once you get Coil, you can dominate extensively with it (and with Energy Ball and Leaf Blade).

Samurott was cool and all, but he's the weakest Water starter in all the five games to me, I didn't like him that much. Emboar on the other hand was amazing xD.

I used Snivy too in White. Some parts of the game was hard, but my team made up for it. Overall, Snivy is a good starter especially if you need a Grass type. But, this time I might go Oshawatt or Tepig depending on the Gym Leaders and Elite 4.

That reminds me. Do you think all the Gym Leaders and/or Elite 4 will be new?

I hope so, and I also hope they keep the previosu character as the champion instead of Alder.

With a few excetions, I'd would prefer to keep the same characters, but evolved, older - or maybe new characters related to the old ones, like a Gym Leader son or daughter.

That would bring a sense of continuity to the series. But to use the previous main character as the champion is a nice touch... even though it's hard, since the champion probably will have to speak!

It is on the DS, it is the second iteration of Black and White. I doubt it'll do as well as Platinum. That is the reason I only went to 520'000. The DS is dying and you can tell by Black and White's sales compared to the other three DS Pokemon Games.

Cheren will be champion, methinks. You will fight Hilda/Herbert as the main "Red" fight.

Not too happy about keeping those starters though, Id prefer it if we got to start with a Pokemon from a big selection. We start our Journey in this new city and the Pokemon center is giving away young Pokemon to new trainers or something. Starters from all gens plus Eevee. Would be awesome!
